John Lennon was born on 9th October 1940 in Liverpool. He was an English singer, songwriter, musician and peace activist. He went true a lot of family problem and had to move multiple places where he will lived. At the begining of his carrer he joined skiffle craze. Later in 1956 he formed his first band the Quarrymen that later envolved into the Beatles. True the carrer in Beatles he made new friends and made great song that are still very popular in nowdays. Some Beatles songs are Please Please Me, With The Beatles, Yellow Submarne and many more. Later he started his solo carrer and made new songs that were very popular. On 8th December 1980 John Lennon was shot and killed by Mark David Chapman. John Lennon was great artist that will never be forgotten and he changed the look of the music around the world.

Paul McCartney
Paul McCartney was born on 18th June 1942 in Liverpool. He is a British vocalist, songwriter, composer, bass player, poet and painter. Paul studied music and art and he was one of four students who passed the 11+ exam, "the scholarship". He earned A level in English and Art at Liverpool Institute for Boys. He met John Lennon on June 6 1975 and joined his group, The Quarrymen. When Lennon's mother was killed in 1958, they became very close friends and established themselves as songwriters for the band. His famous songs are "Hey Jude", "Love Me Do", "I Saw Her Standing There", "Penny Lane", "Let It Be", "Yesterday" and much more. According to the Guinness Book of Records, he is the best selling artist of all time.

George Harrison
George Harrison was born on 25th February 1943 in Liverpool where The Beatles started. Just like the other Beatles he didn’t have a luxurious childhood and wasn’t very good with his studies but that didn’t stop his road to success of playing the electric guitar.One of his biggest idols was Elvis Presley in his early teenage years. At first, John Lennon then a 17-year old teen was reluctant to let Harrison join the band as he was 14 at the time and soon to be the youngest band member.


He soon became the lead guitarist and nicknamed the ‘Silent Beatle’. He wrote about 22 songs, some of the most popular were “While My Guitar Gently Weeps", "Something" and "Here Comes the Sun". In 1999 he survived a knife attack but after two years he died due to lung cancer on 29th November, 2001.



Ringo Starr
Sir Richard Starkey MBE (born 7 July 1940), better known by his stage name Ringo Starr, is an English musician, singer, songwriter and actor who achieved international fame during the 1960s as the drummer for the Beatles. He occasionally sang lead vocals with the group, usually for one song on each album, including "Yellow Submarine", "With a Little Help from My Friends" and their cover of "Act Naturally". He also wrote and sang the Beatles' songs "Don't Pass Me By" and "Octopus's Garden", and is credited as a co-writer of others.
Star quit Rory Storm and the Hurricanes in January 1962 and briefly joined Sheridan in Hamburg before returning to the Hurricanes for a third season at Butlins.


On 14 August 1962, Starr accepted Lennon's invitation to join the Beatles. Starr first performed as a member of the Beatles on 18 August 1962 at Port Sunlight. After The Beatles disbanded, in 1970’s Ringo expand on his film career, which began in the 1960’s with The Beatles films, Hard Days Night in 1964, Help! In1965 followed by Magical Mystery Tour in 1967. The 1990s saw some of the best records of Ringo’s career. For all his many creative successes, Ringo is and always will be first and foremost a musician, a drummer.

The Beatles were an English rock band formed in Liverpool in 1960. The group, whose best-known line-up comprised John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr, are regarded as the most influential band of all time. As pioneers in recording, songwriting and artistic presentation, the Beatles revolutionised many aspects of the music industry and were often publicised as leaders of the era's youth and sociocultural movements. Led by primary songwriters Lennon and McCartney, the Beatles built their reputation playing clubs in Liverpool and Hamburg over three years from 1960, initially with Stuart Sutcliffe playing bass. The core trio of Lennon, McCartney and Harrison, together since 1958, went through a succession of drummers, including Pete Best, before asking Starr to join them in 1962. By early 1964, the Beatles were international stars, leading the "British Invasion" of the United States pop market and breaking numerous sales records.

They soon made their film debut with A Hard Day's Night. From 1965 onwards, they produced records of greater complexity, including the albums Rubber Soul, Revolver and Sgt. After the group's break-up in 1970, all four members enjoyed success as solo artists. Lennon was shot and killed in 1980, and Harrison died of lung cancer in 2001. McCartney and Starr remain musically active.

The very first performances of rock band The Beatles was in the clubs in Liverpool. Year 1960 band who contained five young men started they very first performance in Star club. The songs they performed has written by John Lennon and George Harrison, and it contain friendship and love. They very first concert was in Hamburg 1961 on which they played their first album “Love me do” and there started their career. Between 1960 and 1962 they perform hundreds of concerts, in which they sing about freedom love and against the war. The first perform in America was in the popular “The Ed Sullivan Show” 9 of February 1964, and there has been 70 million fans.

Their most famous performance was 15 of August 1965 on Shea stadium in New York City where attended about 55 600 fans. Audience was so loud that their playing was hardly heard, but that was the biggest rock ‘n’ roll concert in history. Their last concert which was entitled as “Rooftop” was 1968 on the roof of their publishing house “Apple Records” in London. It was interesting that the wind on that concert was so strong that their technician has to buy women socks (nylons) to reduce noises.
Veljko Despot published on Plavi vjesnik interview with Beatles in 1967. Despot was in London in front of the studio E.M.I on Abbey Road where Beatles shoted their first album.
