It was a sunny day. Sammy and Reah were playing in the garden with their pet dog, Bruno.

"Sammy and Reah, would you take Bruno to the vet for his annual check-up? "asked mother.

"Yes mother, We will." Both Sammy and Reah replied.

"Where is Bruno?" mother asked. "Was he not playing with you when I came here?"

"He was right here mother, we were playing together." 

"Let's find Bruno".said Sammy.

And so they started searching for Bruno. On the way they met their friend, Sebby. 

"Hey, Sebby. Good morning."

"Good morning, friends. What are you two searching for?" asked Sebby

"We are searching for Bruno. Have you seen him ?asked Reah.

"I think I saw him in the park." Sebby told them

" Oh thankyou Sebby. We have to take him to the vet."

"Come on, I'll  will come with you." 

"Bruno! Bruno! Where are you buddy?" called Sammy.

Something moved in the grassy patch.

"Aha , I got you boy!" Sammy exclaimed. As Sammy and others went towards the grassy patch. Bruno zoomed out and ran past them. They chased him but could not catch up with him.

"Do you know where Bruno would be hiding?" Sebby asked.

After thinking for a while. Reah said,

"I think he would be at the lake, he loves to play there." 

"Let's go and find him."

On reaching the lake they saw, it was beautiful out there.

"Look at the rainbow! Look at the flowers blooming!" exclaimed Sebby and Reah.

"Beautiful indeed, Bruno knows the best spots." said Sammy.

They searched far and wide. But could not find him.

"Bruno! where are you? please come back buddy."

 They heard yipping from the old store house near by. They ran to the storehouse.

 On going inside, they saw Bruno playing with puppies. when they looked closer. They  noticed that the mother dog was injured. Her paw was bleeding. Bruno came running  to them, barking as if  asking for help. 

" Oh, she is hurt. Her paw is bleeding. We must help her Sammy." said Reah.  

"Yes, let's take them to the vet. Sammy you take Bruno, Reah you take the pups and I will take the wounded dog.''

The trio took the dogs for a checkup . The vet assessed the wound on the mother dog. 

" Don't worry, she had a cut on her paw. she'll be fine in a few days." said the Vet. Just then, when Bruno was about to slip again. Sammy caught him. 

"Not again buddy, let's get you checked."

The vet checked Bruno.

" He is healthy as a as horse." the vet confirmed.

"No wonder he made us run!" Sebby said. " You are a horse Bruno! A horse- dog! This is a discovery of the century!"

At this Bruno barked and everyone laughed.
