nce upon a time, there was a British
boy called James Pillsbury. He lived with
his little sister and his parents in a little town
of England in 17th century. They were very
polite and religious people. Every Saturday
they prayed to God for THE sanity and sorrow of
their relatives and their people.

ames knew that his father was a very quiet
person, but something wrong and weird was
happening with him. James noticed that his
father was acting in a very bad way with the
people who went to pray in church.
hey were acting very angrily and
annoyingly with the decisions that
the important people of the church had been
taking.

ames' sister was called Mary.
Her parents called her Mary because of
Queen Mary the 1st of England.
Mary was younger than James but she was
very clever.
ne afternoon, they were playing
cards; suddenly Mary listened to her
parents fighting because of some new
rules that were happening in the church.
Her parents never fight, so Mary started
to cry.

ames became angry with his
parents, because of their fault Mary
started to cry.
rs. Pillsbury told them that they
were in a big trouble because the
Church of England started to change the
laws and rules that governed the religion
that they had.

ames asked his parents for a
solution to the problem that was affecting
the family and the religion.
r. Pillsbury said: "We don't have the
freedom that we need here, we are quiet
people and we don't bother anybody, so with
your mother we are thinking of moving to
another place."

ames and Mary agreed with the
decision that their parents made.
They were sad because they have to
abandon their friends and they will
not see them anymore. If they move,
they will leave England. Is not just the
city, it is the whole country and
perhaps the continent. They were very
nervous but excited at the same time.
