The heroes of our story, Karagöz and Hacivat, meet at the playground in the neighborhood. Hacivat and Karagöz, two very close friends, they cannot agree on some issues.

Hikayemizin kahramanları Karagöz ve Hacivat mahalledeki çocuk parkında buluşurlar. Çok yakın iki arkadaş olan Hacivat ve Karagöz bazı konularda anlaşamazlar.

Hacivat:  Çöp değil Karagözüm geri dönüşüm malzemeleri bunlar.

Hacivat: My dear Karagöz, These are recycling materials, not garbage.

Hacivat : İlahi Karagözüm. Kimsenin evini böldüğü yok. Geri dönüşüm diyorum geri dönüşüm.

Hacivat: Goodness for you, my dear Karagöz. Nobody has divided their house. I say recycling, recycling.

Karagöz: Gel dövüşelim mi diyorsun?

Hacivat: Allah iyiliğini versin sana nasıl anlatmalı? İsrafın önlenmesinden, kaynakların verimli kullanılmasından yani sıfır atıktan bahsediyorum Karagözüm.

Karagöz: Kısır atıktan mı bahsediyorsun Hacıvatım.

Hacivat: Olur mu Karagözüm. Sıfır atık diyorum sıfır atık. Kullandıktan sonra attığımız her şey çöp değildir.

Karagöz : Niye sıfır olan şeyi atayım Hacivatım , kullanırım ben onu , atmam .

Karagöz: Why should I throw what is zero, Hacivatım, I use it, I do not throw it.

Hacivat : İlahi Karagözüm kullandığını at demiyorum, atığın oluşması durumunda geri kazanımının sağlanması diyorum sana. Çöpe atma geri kazan. 

Hacivat : Goodness for you, Kargözüm. I am not saying that throw what you use, I say that recycle waste if there is any waste occur. Don't throw away, recycle.

Karagöz: Vay! Sen bana geri kafalı mı diyorsun? Karagöz:Hey! Are you calling me stupid?

Hacivat: İlahi Karagözüm! Ben sana niye geri kafalı diyeyim. Geri kazan diyorum, çöpe atma, geri dönüşüme  kazandır ki, doğamız korunsun, diyorum.

Hacivat: Goodness for you my dear Karagöz, Why should I say to you stupid. I am saying that regain it, don't throw away, recycle it and save our nature.

Karagöz: Nasıl oluyor? Geri dönüşüm anlatsana Hacicavcav. Akşama yemekte ne var? 

 Karagöz:How does it happen? Tell me about recycling, Hacicavcav. What's for dinner in the evening?

Hacivat: Anlatırım Karagözüm iki sözüm! Geri dönüşüm, yeniden değerlendirilme imkanı olan atıkların fiziksel veya kimyasal işlemlere tabi tutularak ikinci bir hammaddeye dönüştürülmesine denir. 

Hacivat:I'll tell you, my dear friend Karagöz! Recycling is the transformation of recycled wastes into a second raw material by subjecting them to physical or chemical processes.

Karagöz:Ne diyorsun Hacıcavcav , ´````beni niye işletiyorsun?

Karagöz:What are you saying, Hacıcavcav ´``Why are you play trick on me?

Hacivat: Olur mu Karagözüm , seni değil  atıkları işleyerek geri dönüşüm sağlıyoruz.

Karagöz: Ney! Akşam yemeğine artıklar mı var?

Karagöz: What! Are there leftover for dinner?

Hacivat: Ah benim obur Karagöz'üm, Aklın fikrin hep midende! Şimdi dikkatlice dinle. Örneğin,  yemek artıklarını komposta dönüştürerek organik gübre elde edebiliriz. Böylece çevremizi çöplerle doldurmak yerine toprak verimliliğini arttırabiliriz.

Hacivat:Oh my glutton Karagöz, Your mind is always in your stomach. Now, listen carefully. For example, we can get organic fertilizer by converting leftovers into compost. Thus, we can increase soil fertility instead of filling our environment with garbage.

Karagöz: I don't understand anything? Convert leftovers to compost?

Hacivat: Of course !!! And it's called we are talking about the environment. For others for the next generations. Composting is a popular practice in EU countries. More and more communes, out of concern for the environment, encourage residents to limit the storage of biodegradable waste and to set up their own home composters. They even offer ready-made models for free.

Karagöz: What are these recycling materials Hacivat? Hacivat: These are; paper, metal, glass, plastic, batteries, organic wastes, electronic devices, textile products ... and many more recycling materials.

Karagöz: I'm so happy to be next to these dolls. they are wonderful. I can't wait to play with them. 

Hacivat: Yes, they look like puppets. It's like they have life. Look, it's moving! Let's try them!

Karagöz: I can't play here. I don't like this space because it's too crowded. Let's find a suitable place.

Hacivat: Good. Either way. We're going to play somewhere else. Although, here was such a wonderful place next to these puppets.

Hacivat:  It is wonderful! We can make dolls of natural materials. Would be fun!

Hacivat : Then what do we say my dear Karagöz.It means "Zero Waste Happy Future".

Karagöz : Seni şimdi daha iyi anlıyorum Hacivat.

Hacivat: O zaman ne diyoruz Karagözüm? "Sıfır Atık Mutlu Bir Gelecek" demektir.
