James Charles was born on May 23, 1999, In Bethlehem, New York. His birth name is James Dickson Charles. His mother's name is Christine Dickson and his fathers name is Skip Dickson. James also has a younger brother named Ian Jeffery, He is 19 years old and 2 years younger than James.

James Charles went to Bethlehem Central High School of New York. James got bullied a lot in school most of the time he would ignore it and sometimes he would stick up for himself. One day on James school dance he had a friend that helped him do his hair and his makeup. James graduated school in 2017 when he was 17 years old, James got the college credit he needed.

Career and Achievements.

James Charles is a makeup artist/Youtuber he makes videos of him doing his own makeup and famous well known people. He also reacts to some videos and some other stuff. In Feb 11, 2017 James won a "Shorty Award for Breakout Youtuber." In 2018 James also won a "Teen Choice Award for Fashion/Beauty", In 2018 and 2020 James Charles won “People’s Choice award for favorite Beauty Influencer." He has his own series on Youtube called "Instant Influencer." 2021 His network is work 22 million.
