Once upon a time, in the Atlantic and Pacific 

oceans, there was a seal.

His name was Harvy. He was a harbor seal. He 

loved to have races with his friends and have 

diving contests. He had a baby sister named 

Aqua.

One day while Harvy and Aqua were eating 

lunch(squid, molluscs, and sand lance), they 

heard a shooting noise. The harbor seal 3 

blocks away had been shot!

”It was a hunter right?”Harvy asked his mom.

”Yes,we are hunted for our blubber and 

oil.”said his mom.

”I knew that!!!”yelled Harvy. He went outside 

to take a swim. He turned the corner and-

”AHHHHHHHHH!!!!”yelled Harvy

There was a scuba diver! In fact,there were 

hundreds!

Harvy swam home as fast as he could. On the 

way, he warned the others in Harbortown 

D.C…and the president! A week later, the 

hunters were coming in bigger groups!”In a 

few weeks,”Harvy thought miserably,”we’ll be 

extinct.” Suddenly the phone rang.”I got it!”he 

yelled.

It was the president.”Hello Mr. President!!!”shouted 

Harvy.

“Shhhhhhh!”said a voice on the other side of the 

phone”I have a plan.”

“Come to the Harbor House on Special Street and I’ll 

tell you then.”

“Okey,dokey.”said Harvy.”See ya!”he secretly told his 

mom what had

 happened. He wanted to tell Aqua,but she would be 

dead scared to know.The next day, he got up early 

to take a bounce on land,because his spots blend in 

with the rocks, but his mom said it was too 

dangerous because the hunters were still out there, 

so he went to back to bed. 

Suddenly,he remembered what the president had 

said to him. He quietly snuck out of his house and to 

the president’s house. He knocked on the door and it 

swung open. The president stood there and greeted 

him.

Then, he led him into the sitting room. “Here’s 

the plan.You are going to warn EVERYbody in 

town, and then lead them here. Got that?”

“Yes sir!”

"Now let's go,before it’s to late!”

  Harvy rushed out. He went door to door 

telling everybody. Soon, everyone in town was 

rushing behind Harvy,

telling him to hurry up.They all rushed into the 

Harbor House and the president told THEM the 

plan.”That’s impossible!” Some of them yelled.

“Where will we find all our yummy salmon and 

rockfish and crabs?!”said others.

”Somewhere else.”said the president calmly.
