Once upon a time there was a teacher called Elisabeth. She lived in England and her school was situated in London. She loved going for a walk around the Big Ben and the London Eye. In her free time she used to go to see the change of guard at the Buckingham Palace.

In her class there were many boys and girls from all over the world. Everyone had different cultures and customs. Lets go to meet them!!!

Ranjit is an Indian boy. His favourite colour is grey because it reminds him of elephants. In addition, it is also his favourite animal. In his country they celebrate “Holis”, a beautiful party with colored powders. He tells us that in India there are a lot of varieties of spices.

She also tells us about the traditional and fun dances and songs around the fire.

Nala is an African girl. In Africa there are so many savannas, miles and miles of wildlife, where almost everything is brown.
Nala loves giraffes and lions because her dad used to work as a vet in zoos and safaris, so she had grown up surrounded by animals.

Sophia comes from Canada and her favourite colour is white, because it reminds her of the cold and snow of his country. Sophia really likes the snow and she also likes to go skiing with her family and friends.

She likes animals very much, but especially husky dogs and bears that abound in the forests around her. She also likes to practice ice hockey, a very common and famous sport in her city.

Chao is a Chinese boy. China is a huge country known for its great and powerful wall, where the dragon is a symbol of imperial power. His favourite food is Wan Tan soup and he practises kung fu as an extracurricular activity and hobby.
He told us that his favourite color is red, because it reminds him of the beautiful Chinese houses and streets where he was born.

Lupe comes from Mexico and she loves to eat tacos with chile, a typical food from there. In Mexico they have their own clothes which are the huipil and a type of hat, the Mexican hat. A custom celebration is the “day of the dead'' with Mexican skulls.

Toni comes from Spain, a beautiful country where we can find a lot of beaches. An important city that you have to visit is the capital, Madrid. Toni’s favorite foods are the paella and potato omelette, a typical food from Spain.
He knows how to dance flamenco and wants to teach us. He also told us that his family used to enjoy “The Fallas” and “San Fermin”, traditional festivities, but he is too young to take part.

She is Naila. Naila comes from Hawaii and her favorite colour is green. In Hawaii there are many beaches that she always goes to with her family. She really likes surfing and watching the turtles that swim by her side. On her island, It is typical to wear Hawaian skirts and flower-necklaces.
