Stardate: Wednesday, 2 PM 

Just STEM Log: We are 73 young astronauts. We are meeting today to build a rocket. We will use it to fly up in the sky, above the clouds, in the neverending Space.

We are smart and ambitious. We practice jobs of the future. 

We are aerospace engineers, environmental engineers, systems engineers, microbiologists, psychotherapists, robotic surgeons, software developrs, water systems engineers, architects and personal therapists.

We build the rocket and name it Space because our biggest dream is to fly all around the Universe. 

The rocket is ready. 

We are on board. 

In 5, 4, 3, 2, 1... engage! Wuuum! 

Our adventure begins. We are so, so excited!

In a few minutes we see the infinity of the Universe. 

We see beautiful stars. They are big and small. Each star shines in a different colour. We see asteroids and magic black holes. 

We land on Mars for a few moments. We look around and... WOW! 

We see the most special planet, our dear Earth. It is a world unlike any other. 

It is covered in a white blanket with air. It has a blue coat with water. We see blue oceans which hug green continents. 

Earth is the third planet from the Sun. It is the only planet known to maintain life. Earth is the humans’ home planet. 

It protects us and provides us with food. Earth is a wonderful big home for every creature. 

We go closer and coloser. 

We see wonderful and colorful flowers. There are red tulips and white snowdrops and daffodils. We see tasty mushrooms and sweet strawberries. And, most of all, we see green trees and fresh leaves. 

We go closer and closer.

We see a lot of animals. They are domestic and wild. 

We see rabbits, hens, pigs, horses, ducks, goats, sheeps and cows.

We see bears, wolves, lions, giraffes, foxes, turtles, bees and ladybugs.

Earth is full of wonders. 

Unfortunately, not all the humans understand the importance of life.

Every leaf, every flower, every bee, every fly is important to keep the natural balance. 

In our days, the air, the water and the land are polluted. 

Earth is our home. 

We need to protect our special planet because, without it, we will probably not exist.

Our mission is to keep it safe for the future. And we are prepared to go for it!
