Track and field athlete
Elaine Thompson-Herah is a Jamaican track and field sprinter. She rose to fame at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, completing a rare sprint double to win gold in the 100 meters and 200 meters.

“One day she discovered that she was fierce, strong and full of fire, which could not be contained because her passion burned within her much stronger than fear ”. He also posted it on his twitter account after timing 10.71 seconds in Jamaica, just one hundredth below his national record.

Biography
Caterine Ibargüen was born on February 12, 1984. In June 1999, Caterine won her first medal in an international championship by obtaining third place in the South American Championship held in Bogotá, with a mark of 1.76 in high jump. From there, victories for Caterine cascaded.

Caterine's athletic development has not been easy. For the 2008 Beijing Games, Caterine failed to qualify and was on the verge of giving up athletics. He decided to move to Puerto Rico, where he got a scholarship to study nursing and where his new coach, Cuban Ubaldo Duany, encouraged him to focus on the triple jump.
At 1.81m tall, Caterine had no difficulty starting to excel in both triple jump and long jump. Four years later, Caterine not only qualified for the 2012 London Olympics, but won a silver medal in triple jump with a mark of 14.80.

Caterine assures that the passion for athletics has always run through her veins, something that is noticeable every time she competes, since Ibargüen enjoys her competitions to the fullest and always keeps a smile on her face.
With two Olympic medals, Caterine does not give up and today, she prepares to defend her Olympic title at the Tokyo 2020 Games.
