Hello I am William, I am 13 years old and I live in Malawi.

Malawi

Hi, I am Gilbert and I am the friend of William.

I want to bring electricity to my town, so that I can listen to the radio whenever I want.

I want to study in the school of kachokolo because later I want to be a scientist.

But this is the school that I go to because my parents don't have enough money.

I sent a letter to the school Kachokolo persuading them to let me enter because the others schools weren´ t as good as Kachokolo.

My family is poor so we don`t have food so I couldn´ t have a good time this christmas. And food is a very important thing at christmas.

Right now I'm a little sad because I spent Christmas with a lot of hunger and my friend William can not eat either.

I'm going to tell you what happened to me. Those from the institute have answered me!

I have always wanted to do something nice for my town and I have the idea of making a windmill to attract wind

And the idea is that with the old materials that I have around here that I will no longer use, I have decided to make a windmill to bring many things to my town and listen to the radio whenever I want and feel like it.

First, I made a small windmill to test. And it looked pretty good to me, really. I used dynamos, chains ... Now I have to make the good windmill. It´s going to be the best windmill in the world!

Thanks to Gilbert and his help I have been able to build this mill. Now I can listen to the radio when I want! Thank you Gilbert.
