Learning about different cultures and cusines has been great.....

Hi ! I am Kayra
I am Carla!
We're two friends trying to discover the beauties of Italy and Turkey. In Italy Carla is my guide and she will help me with the attractions and tastes of her country.I hope we will all have a great time....

Bologna's two leaning towers are the city's main symbol. Located in the very centre, the taller of the two, the 97.2m-high Torre degli Asinelli (the tallest leaning medieval tower in the world), is open to the public and offers an amazing view of the city from up top.The Piazza Maggiore is the main square in Bologna’s historic center. Visitors can admire the old buildings all around, and the beautiful Neptune fountain, while sipping a drink at one of the many outdoor cafés. The Basilica of San Petronio is also worth a visit.

After a very long journey from Bologna, it is nice to be in Samsun Kayra, though it is raining.

Yes Carla, Samsun is rainy most of the year, which is the same for all the cities on the east Black Sea Coast. Now we are in Atatürk Park in the city centre and this is The Equestrian Statue of Atatürk, the symbol of Samsun.
Then we are visiting Bandırma Ship Museum, which takes its name from the ship by which Atatürk travelled from İstanbul to Samsun in 1919 to start the Independence War.

Wow! There are so many things to see in Samsun. I love this Amazon Woman Statue. I want to send a Samsun postcard to my Mum:)
Samsun is the biggest city of the Black Sea region. Due to the big Samsun harbour it has a very important role in the region's economy.
