ONE DAY THE PARROT SEES SOME BLACK SMOKE IN THE SKY. “WHAT IS IT?” ASKS THE PARROT.

BUT NO ONE IS INTERESTED IN HIS WORDS..

ONLY THE HUMMINGBIRD IS LOOKING AT THE FAR BLACK SMOKE.

AND HE SAYS: “IT SEEMS A FIRE…PROBABLY WE ARE IN DANGER!”

THE DAY AFTER THE BLACK SMOKE IS CLOSER AND THE PARROT IS WORRIED..

BUT NO ONE PAYS ATTENTION TO HIM…THEY DON’T LISTEN BECAUSE THEY PREFER TO CONTINUE THEIR ACTIVITIES..

BUT NOW THE FLAMES ARE EVERYWHERE AND THEY ARE BURNING EVERYTHING..

THERE IS HOT EVERYWHERE AND ALL THE PLANTS, ARE BURNING..

ALL THE ANIMALS ARE SCARED AND THEY RUN AWAY AS FAST AS THEY CAN..

“WHERE IS HE GOING?” .

HE IS FLYING TO THE RIVER, WHERE HE TAKES SOME WATER IN HIS BEAK..

THEN HE FLIES TO THE FIRE AND DROPS THE WATER..

AFTER THAT HE RETURNS TO THE RIVER..

AND SO ON..

HE IS TRYING TO PUT OUT

THE FIRE..

“WHAT ARE YOU DOING?” ASKS THE ARMADILLO. “ARE YOU CRAZY?” ASKS THE MONKEY. “IT’ S IMPOSSIBLE DOING THAT!”

THEN ALL THE ANIMALS GO TO THE RIVER AND TAKE SOME WATER.

LATER THEY GO TO THE FIRE, DROPPING THE WATER ON IT.

AND THEY DO THAT AGAIN AND AGAIN.

Julia "butterfly" Hill is an American girl that lived on a sequoia for 2 years (1997-1999), to save it and to save all the park around it ! This park is still there!

Sebastiao Salgado was a famous war reporter- photographer. When he came back to his farm, he saw that Brazilian forest around it was disappeared! 20 years later the forest reappeared, thanks to him and other people! His project to plant new trees is going on..

We think that the little hummingbird wants to leave an important message: “it doesn’t matter if you are small or little, if each of us will do his/her part, then we’ll change something.. only together we can find a solution!!”
