CHAPTER 1#

THE GRANDFATHERS CLOCK

Mr. Aiden Hemmingsworth loved to play poker. Every evening after a nice game with his friends, he liked to go into the living room and take a nap before dinner. He did it almost every day. Aiden was a sort of old-fashioned guy. He didn't have any electronics except a watch to tell time. In the corner of the living room was an old grandfather's clock. You might be thinking "If he has a clock, why does he need a watch?" That's because the clock has been passed down many generations and it was very old, so it hadn't worked for decades. One afternoon when Mr. H was asleep, the clock started making banging noises and ticking sounds! Mr.  H.

 woke up with a start. He inspected the clock from a distance, afraid of what was going to happen to him if he got too close. Suddenly, the clock started to go wild and the hands started turning in all directions! He was terrified. And then, all of a sudden the clock just collapsed. It was just a pile of wood. Mr. Hemmingworth jumped! Then, out of the pile suddenly sprung out hundreds, maybe thousands, of vampire bats! They were flying around like crazy, pecking him, and knocking everything down! Aidan was screaming wildly. His neighbor saw him in the window and called the cops. But by the time they got there, he -and the bats- were gone! In fact, it looked like nothing happened at all! There was just an old grandfather's clock, sitting in the corner.....

CHAPTER 2#

Lilith

I looked up and down at my new house. It was brown with rotting black shutters and almost covered in cobwebs. "Mom, do we have to move here?" Said my snobby phone-addicted older sister Lindsay, putting on about a 10th layer of lip gloss "This place gives me the creeps, plus there's no good photo spots." My mom rolled her eyes. "Yes, we do have to move here, it's the closest one to my new job." She said. Will, my younger brother, on the other hand, ran around the house yelling "THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!" Mom chuckled "Well at least Will likes it." She said.

"Why don't you, Jeremy?" I shrugged."I don't know. It's just so creepy!". Suddenly, out of nowhere, Lindsay just screamed! "OMG THERE'S NO WI-Fi!!!!" she shrieked, holding up her phone. I groaned "Why do I have to be related to you?" I started walking up to the door with sobbing Lindsay trailing behind me. I shuffled upstairs and walked into my new room to start getting unpacked. When I was finished I realized I had my own bathroom. Wow! No more sharing a bathroom with my siblings anymore! I thought happily. All of a sudden I noticed some weird writing on the mirror. This is what it said :

PLEASE TAKE GOOD CARE OF HER. THANK YOU - KCALB belaC 

I got pretty creeped out because below on the sink 

was a creepy female doll, with X's for eyes. And the writing also was pretty scary cause its red, and unfortunately, red is the color of you-know-what. I looked down and saw a small white scrap of paper in the doll's dress pocket. I was hesitant, but I decided to suck it up and grab it. It said: LILITH. I guess that's her name?

Uh-oh, I thought I learned about this in my school, the name Lilith means "night monster" or "ghost", this is not going to be good......

CHAPTER 3#

MAD MACHINE

Genesis Corner was 11 years old. And, at such a young age, she was pretty much a genius! Her parents were very famous engineers and scientists and created a robot that could change its form into anything that you wanted! And, you see, Genesis is a very confident and competitive person, so she of course tried to make it herself. So this is where the story begins. Genesis was working on her robot when her parents called to her that they were going to the grocery store. "Okay! Love you mami and papa!". Finally! I get some time alone to work on my robot! She said. Then, a couple of months later, she had completed it! She was so excited to try it out! 

She eagerly went to bed, waiting for the next day.

Genesis opened her eyes at dawn, knowing the first thing she was going to do. She jumped out of bed and ran straight to her new robot. She approached it quickly, wondering what to change it into. And then it hit her like a bolt of lightning. Abuela! Abuela was her grandmother who went to visit a friend in New York and Genesis missed her dearly. She would love to see her again. So she closed her eyes and focused on her grandmother in her mind. Then POOF! Blue clouds swarmed around her robot, consuming it entirely. Then the clouds formed the shape of a grown woman. Then slowly the clouds drifted 

away, revealing Abuela! Genesis was bubbling with joy. "Where am I?- Genesis?!" Abuela was in shock. "Abuela!" Genesis ran toward her grandmother, giving her a great big bear hug.

 "Genesis, how did this happen?"

"Don't worry Abuela, everything's fine."

But little did she know, her robot (or should I say her parent's robot) was not supposed to be used on wishing for humans!
