Anita i ja smo došle u posjet Dr.Barislavu, ugledale smo taj stroj. Pošto nismo znale kakva je to čudna spravčica nismo je htjele dirati. U jednom trenutku Dr.Barislav je viknuo: „To je to, našao sam rješenje!“.
I believe that everyone has wondered about the future, at least once in a lifetime. “What will my future be like? Will my dreams come true?“
What would you say if I told you that I knew how the future looked like.
There is one girl, her name is Anita. She’s my friend and she lives in Zagreb. Her grandfather, a famous inventor, Dr Barislav has been trying for years to invent a time machine for travelling to the future. It seems he has made it, finally.
It was an ordinary Saturday. Anita and I came to visit Dr Barislav and we suddenly saw the time machine. Since we didn’t know what that strange thing was, we didn’t dare to touch it. Suddenly Dr Barislav shouted: “That’s it! I’ve found it!“
He started moving in circles, excited and happy, and kept repairing things when finally he stopped moving and said with relief: “It’s done!“Anita and I didn’t understand a word he was saying.
The night came. Neither Anita nor I could sleep because we wanted to find out what it was all about. An idea occured to both of us at the same time. We decided to sneak into the workshop and take a look. We entered the machine. There were millions of buttons! Since we thought that the machine was unfinished, we pressed 60 buttons: click, click, click…
It started shaking and moving, up, down, left, right… and… we travelled to the year 2065, 45 years to the future.
At first we didn’t know what was going on. After coming out to the street we couldn’t believe our eyes. In front of us there were skyscrapers lifting high up to the clouds and on each one of them there were signs: Happy New Year 2065.
We looked at each other and shouted: “It’s a time machine!“
Isprobale smo leteće bicikle i leteće romobile.
Of course, we didn’t know how to return so we began exploring and looking for a way out.
We’ve been through so many situations. We flew in an air taxi. School kids were not carrying schoolbags, but some weird boxes. We ate in a restaurant where a robot was a waiter, strange isn’t it? There was Express transportation: as soon as you boarded a plane, you were in another country. We’ve tried flying cars and flying romobiles. We didn’t need to do anything, we only had to say out loud where we wanted to go and it took us there. Computers didn’t have keyboards, you could use an invisible keyboard and air gestures for writing.
kraj
Who knows how long we would have stayed in the future if Dr Barislav hadn’t come for us. He knew how to navigate the machine and take us back to the present. We entered the machine and it immediately started moving in circles and in a blink we were in Dr Barislav’s workshop again.
Next week at school we had the assignment to write a composition, and the topic was the future. Anita and I had so much to write about.
And that is my story.
We are all so eager to see our future and all we need to do is enjoy the present and stay calm while we wait for the future to come.
