It was Wednesday… a windy and warm autumn. I was sitting with my grandma on a bench in Zagreb, in the Upper Town. Sitting with her was beautiful by itself… and having profound conversations!
We were thinking about the things we did wrong in our lives and those we did right… we agreed that it was so beautiful to have each other, how my life will pass quickly…
After a long chat, although it was not nearly enough, we headed towards Šenoa street.
She was telling me about the 70s, the great times, the hairstyles, the clothes, the people… Then, she remembered the film One Song a Day Takes a Mischief Away, such a great film, she said, and we probably saw it together a hundred times. We went to a bakery then, she bought me a tasty doughnut and cocoa and a bagel for herself.
It was 3 p.m. already, a strong wind and rain started so we took a shelter in a fine restaurant Kaptolska klet… now, that was really nice! Grandma used to have lunch with grandpa, quite often. She had fish as usual, she loves fish, and I ordered a steak.
A beautiful day…until at one moment I heard someone shouting Maja, lunch is on the table! I woke up and realized it was all just a dream, unfortunately.
