Bir varmış, bir yokmuş. Evvel zaman içinde, kalbur saman içinde çooook uzak diyarlardan birinde oldukça yüksek bir dağ varmış. Bu dağın adı Topla-Çıkar dağıymış. Herkes bu dağın zirvesine ulaşmak istermiş. Ama dağın zirvesine ulaşmak çok zormuş. Bu dağın zirvesine ulaşmanın bir şartı varmış. O da tırmanacak kişilerin toplama ve çıkarma işlemlerini çok iyi bilmeleri gerekirmiş.  

       Once upon a time , the sieve was in the straw ın one of the far-off realms there was a very high mountain. The name of this mountain is Addition and Subtraction Mountain.  Everybody wanted to reach the top of this mountain. But it was so hard to reach the top of the mountain. Ther was a condition to reach the summit of this mountain. The people who will climb should know the addition and subtraction very well.

Ülkede yaşayan çocukların tek arzusu bu dağa tırmanıp, dağın zirvesindeki laleleri toplayıp inince de arkadaşlarına bu laleleri dağıtmakmış. 

        Bir gün ülkede toplama ve çıkarma yarışması düzenlenmiş. Yarışmanın sonucuna göre öğrenciler dağa tırmanmaya hak kazanacaklarmış.  Yarışmayı tüm soruları doğru cevaplayan 3 öğrenci kazanmış.

Öğrencilerden birinin adı İrem, diğerinin adı Nil ve üçüncü öğrencinin adı da Ebru’ymuş.  

The only desire of the children living in the country was to climb this mountain and collect the tulips onthe top of the mountain and then distribute these tulips to their friends. 

One day, a collection and extraction competition was organized in the country. Accordiing to the results of the competition, students will be entitled to climb the mountain. 3 students who answered all questions correctly won the competition.

       One of the students was İrem, the other was Nil and the third student’s name was Ebru.

  Dağa ilk olarak Ebru tırmanmış. Herkes merakla Ebru’nun kaç tane lale toplayacağını bekliyormuş. Ebru dağa tırmanmaya başlamış. Zirveye ulaşınca  ilk gördüğü bölümde kırmızı laleler varmış. Buradan  12 tane kırmızı lale toplamış. Biraz ilerlemiş bir de ne görsüüün ! Karşısında sarı laleleeeer! Mutluluktan havalara uçmuş.

Ebru was the first to climb the mountain.  Everyone was eagerly awaiting how many tulips Ebru will collect. When Ebru started to climb the mountain, she first saw red tulips when she reached the summit. She collected 12 red tulips fom here.It is a little advanced. And what should she see?

Against yellow tulips. She is in the air with happiness.

En çok laleyi ben toplayacağım diye çok sevinmiş. Buradan da 18 tane lale toplayınca toplam 30 lalesi olmuş.  Hava çok sıcakmış. Ebru çok yorulmuş. Artık inmeliyim diye düşünmüş.  Dağdan iniş yapmak üzere harekete geçmiş. İniş yolunda pembe laleler görünce iki kat sevinmiş. Zaten 30 lalesi vardı. Pembe lalelerden de 25 tane toplamış. Taaaam 55 tane lalesi olmuş. Herkes beni merakla bekliyordur, diye mutlu BİR şekilde inmiş dağdan. Hava kararmak üzereymiş. 

She was very happy that I will collect the most tulips. When  she collected 18 tulips from here, a total 30 tulips became. The weather was very hot

 Ebru was very tired and thought that I should get off now. She set out to make the descent from the mountain. She was doubly delighted to see pink tulips on the way down.

She already had 30 tulips. She also collected 25 pink tulips. It has exactly 55 tulips. She came down from the mountain happily because everybody was waiting for me curiosity. It’s about to get dark.

Dağın eteğinde onu 43 arkadaşı bekliyormuş. Toplanan laleleri arkadaşlarına dağıtınca kendi laleleri eksilecekmiş. Ama işin güzelliği de buradaymış. Ebru topladığı 55 laleyi birer birer 43 arkadaşına dağıtmış. Kırmızı lale, sarı lale ve pembe lale toplarken elinde çoğalan laleler birer birer eksiliyormuş. 55 lalenin 43 tanesini dağıtınca kendisine maalesef 12 lale kalmış. 

43 friends were waiting for him at the foot of the mountain. When she distrubutes the collected tulips to his friends, his own tulips will disappear. But the beauty of itwas here. Ebru distributed the 55 tulips she collected to 43 friends one by one. When you say red tulip, yellow tulip, and pink tulip, the tulips that multiply in her hand are decreasing one by one. When she distributed 43 of 55 tulips, she was left with 12 tulips.

        2. gün dağa tırmanma sırası Nil’deymiş. Nil ilk defa dağa tırmanacakmış. Bu yüzden çok heyecanlıymış. En sevdiğim renk mor, mor laleler bulmalıyım diyerek yola koyulmuş. Tırmanmış tırmanmış ve çok değişik bir lale ile karşılaşmış. Gördüğü lalelerin kafası diğer laleler gibi değilmiş. Kafası aşağı bakıyormuş. ‘’Allah Allah, bu nasıl bir lale?’’ diye sormuş kendi kendine. Sonra aklına internetten bu laleyi araştırmak gelmiş. Eline telefonu alıp ters lale yazınca, bir de ne görsün?

 On the 2nd day, it was the Nil to climb the mountain. Nil was going to climb the mountain for the first time. That's why she was so excited. My favorite color is purple, I have to find purple tulips. She climbed up and came across a very different tulip. The head of the tulips she saw was not like other tulips. Her head was looking down. God, what kind of tulip is this? she asked herself. Then he thought of searching for this tulip on the internet, but when she picked up the phone and wrote a reverse tulip, what would she see? 

 Dağda internet çekmiyormuş. Ama arama yapılabiliyormuş. Ben en iyisi arkadaşım Ebru’yu arayıp ona sorayım demiş. Ebru’yu aradığında, Ebru bu laleler ile karşılaşmadığını ama internetten bakıp Nil’i arayacağını söylemiş. Nil heyecanla Ebru’dan gelecek haberi beklemiş. Nil’in tarifine göre gördüğü laleler koruma altına alınmış ve koparılırsa cezası olan bir nadir bulunan bitki türüymüş. Laleleri koparmadığı için çok sevinmiş. Bu lalelerin fotoğraflarını çekip yoluna devam etmiş.

There was no internet on the mountain. But search could be made. The best thing is to call my friend Ebru and ask her. When she called Ebru, Ebru said that she did not encounter these tulips, but that she would look on the internet and search for Nil. Nil eagerly awaited the news from Ebru. According to the description of the Nil, the tulips she saw were taken under protection and they were an endemic plant species that would be punished if they were plucked.

Nil, sonunda istediği mor renkli laleleri bulmuş. 15 tane mor lale toplamış. Dağın eteğine doğru tekrar dönüş yoluna geçmiş. Yol üzerinde çok kelebek ve arı görmüş. Kelebekler ve arılar neşe içinde uçuşuyorlarmış. Birkaç tane arı Nil’in üzerine doğru gelince korkmuş.

Nil finally found the purple tulips she wanted. She collected 15 purple tulips. She is on the way back towards the foot of the mountain. She saw many butterflies and bees on the way. Butterflies and bees were flying with joy. When a few bees came over the Nil, she got scared. 

Korkunca koşarak yoluna devam etmiş ve o sırada elindeki lalelerden 5 tanesini yere düşürmüş. Böylece 10 tane lalesi kalmış ama arılardan kurtulmuş. O sırada pembe laleler görmüş. 7 tane de pembe lale toplamış. Elinde 10 mor,7 pembe yani toplam 17 lalesi ile dağın eteğine ulaşmış.

. She continued on her way running scared and at that time he dropped 5 of the tulips in her hand. Thus, 10 tulips were left, but the bees were saved. She saw pink tulips at that time. She collected 7 pink tulips and reached the foot of the mountain with 10 purple and 7 pink tulips in her hand.

Dağın eteğinde onu İrem bekliyormuş. Çünkü tırmanma sırası ondaymış. Nil, İrem’e “Ters laleler görürsen sakın toplama!” demiş ve ters lalelerin koruma altında olduğunu söylemiş ve İrem’i uğurlamış….

İrem, kutsal bir görevi yerine getirircesine, gururla yola koyulmuş…Nil’in ters lale ile ilgili söylediklerine de dikkat ederek dağın zirvesine doğru yürümeye başlamış. Bu sefer Ebru ve Nil’in kullanmadığı yoldan gitmeye karar vermiş…

At the foot of the mountain, İrem was waiting for her because it was her turn to climb. Nil told İrem, "If you see inverted tulips, do not collect them!" and said that the reverse tulips were under protection and saw İrem off….İrem proudly set off as if fulfilling a sacred mission … Paying attention to what the Nile had to say about the reverse tulip, she started walking towards the top of the mountain. This time he decided to go the way that Ebru and Nil did not use.

Uzaklardan gelen bir esintinin peşine düşmüş…Derin derin dağ havasını içine çekmiş. Biraz sonra yanık bir kaval sesi duymuş. Çok şaşırmış. Kimsecikler olmazdı hani bu dağda? Önüne çıkan küçük derenin serin sularına ayaklarını koymuş. Dere boyunca yürümeye devam etmiş…

He pursued a distant breeze…He inhaled the deep mountain air. A little later he heard a burnt flute. He was very surprised. You know there wouldn't be anybody on this mountain? He put his feet in the cool waters of the small stream that comes before him. He continued walking along the stream.

Ses hem yakınında hem de uzakmış…Bir türlü sesin olduğu yere ulaşamamış…Çok yorulmuş. Biraz dinlenme umuduyla, bir kayanın üzerine oturmuş. Yorgunluğun verdiği huzurla oracıkta uyuyakalmış.

The sound was both near and distant… He couldn't reach where the sound was… He was very tired. He sat down on a rock, hoping for some rest. He fell asleep right there with the peace of tiredness

 İrem rüyasında aynı dağdaymış. Ama bu sefer yanık çalan kavalın sahibi de oradaymış. Buna çok sevinmiş. Bu, yıllardır kendisinden haber alınamayan çobanmış…Meğerse bu dağa kimse zarar vermesin diye nöbet tutarmış…O da Ters Lalenin varlığına inanarak bu görevi üstlenmiş. Çoban pek zayıf, uzun boylu birisiymiş… Koyunları da pek çokmuş. Ak koyun, Kara koyun, kuzularıyla pek mutlularmış. İrem, çobandan Ters Lalenin öyküsünü anlatmasını rica etmiş. Çoban başlamış anlatmaya…. 

Irem was on the same mountain in her dream. But this time the owner of the pipe that played burnt was also there. He is very happy about this. This is the shepherd, who has not been heard from for years… As it turns out, he was on guard so that no one would harm this mountain… He also took on this duty believing in the existence of the Reverse Tulip. The shepherd was a very thin, tall person… He had many sheep as well. They were very happy with white sheep, black sheep, lambs. İrem asked the shepherd to tell the story of the Reverse Tulip. The shepherd started telling….
