Konstantinos Karatheodoris
A great Greek mathematician who
collaborated with Einstein for solving the relativity space and time problem.

Konstantinos Karatheodoris (13/09/1873 - 02/02/1950) made considerable contributions to the theory of functions, the calculus of variations and measure theory, with applications to many fields of Mathematics, Physics and Archaeology.
In 2002, the University of Munich named after him one of the largest lecture rooms in the mathematical institute . Moreover, in 2009, in Komotini Thrace , the “Karatheodoris” museum was established. The visitor can find manuscripts of Caratheodory, including his correspondence with Rozenthal, Einstein, Kneser, as well as his books.

Canan Dağdeviren
(born May 4, 1985) is a Turkish academic, physicist, material scientist, and assistant professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where she currently holds the LG Career Development Professorship in Media Arts and Sciences.

She is the first Turkish scientist in the history of the Harvard Society to become a Junior Fellow in the Society of Fellows at Harvard University. As a faculty member, she directs her own Conformable Decoders research group at the MIT Media Lab. The group works at the intersection of materials science, engineering and biomedical engineering. They create mechanically adaptive electromechanical systems that can intimately integrate with the target object of interest for sensing, actuation, and energy harvesting, among other applications. She believes that vital information from nature and the human body is "coded" in various forms of physical patterns. Her research focuses on the creation of conformable decoders that can "decode" these patterns into beneficial signals and/or energy.

THE DOCTOR WHO FOUGHT VIRUSES.......
ALONE!

He studied the effect of small doses of “Emetine” in the therapy of virus diseases like Hepatitis A or B, Herpes Zoster. He was appreciated and recognized only in 1984, a year before his death when the “AAA 1984 International Clinical Ecology Competition Prize Awards” gave him a prize for scientific research in the anti-viral sector. He was born in Noci in 1908.He discovered that “Emetine” injected in small doses was able to fight viruses in a very short time and had no side effects.
