A few days later, the farmer was relaxing in the shade of a walnut tree. As he was thinking of what he had to do with half-closed eyes he didn't notice the big snake that was approaching him threateningly. The eagle that was flying high witnessed the whole scene and rushed immediately to seize the snake before harming the poor and tired farmer. The farmer was impressed by the eagle's speed and thanked him for saving his life.
