All the participants in the project created three logos different from each others for the project and shared it on eTwinning website. They also pinned the logos they created on their class boards so that all the students and other teachers at school can see and hear of the project. In this way, it was not only aimed that all the students and teachers can hear of our project but also aimed at attracting their attention to "what is eTwinning?".
After all the logos from every participant were uploaded on the eTwinning website, it was time for all the participants to vote for the logos they think to be the "main logo" for the project.

After the voting process, which was performed with the help of a digital software, the result showing which logo got how many votes was announced and shared on the eTwinning website to let every participant know. Now the project "Waldorf is here. What about you? has a logo.

After deciding on the best logo for our project, we did a storytelling activity between November 15th and December 15th. Because of the Covid-19 global pandemic we had to carry out our storytelling activity online. Before beginning to read our stories we arranged a Zoom meeting with our students and showed them a variety of stories that would attract their attention. Our students voted on what they would like to read the most. Some of the teachers created their own story books via story jumper. We conducted our storytelling activity via Zoom meetings. As we read the story, students were able to see the story book by screen share. Students took turns to read certain parts of the story in order to improve their pronunciation skills. They also tried to translate the sentences into their native language.During this activity students had a perfect opportunity to experience different worlds and cultures. Besides, we wanted to encourage them to put themselves in the position of the characters; to think about their reactions and why they have made them.
All in all, when storytelling, we could easily see the students’ willingness to express their thoughts and opinions.Storytelling surely enhanced our students’ vocabulary knowledge as well. Through storytelling students became more patient and learned the importance of listening to others and to let others speak.

Altınkaya Secondary School

Between 15 December and 15 January, we prepared Animal Masks from paper plates. Before we prepared the masks we held a meeting with the students and the students decided to make the animal masks that they wanted. After the students prepared the animal masks, they created dialogues. They spoke English while wearing these masks.

This activity was useful and enjoyable. The students chose the animals themselves and created their own animal masks. This activity gave the students freedom and chance to do hand work. They colored the masks as they wanted. Teachers were, just mentors in this activity.

Between December 15 and January 15, we had animal masks. My students and I created some animal masks together, watched videos and learned how to draw and create masks. After that we learned the sounds, names of the animals and information about them. We learned where they live and what they like and how they act. Then we had mini play in class and students acted and mime different animals. All the students were involved and they enjoyed this game.
