Pinocchio's tale. 

Story suitable above all for children, but not only for adults as well.

Questa storia comincia con un pezzo di legno. Il falegname Geppetto, un ometto con un parrucchino biondo, riceve in regalo un pezzo di legno che riesce a parlare. Decide di usarlo per costruire un piccolo burattino che continua a prenderlo in giro man mano che il falegname lo completa.

This story begins with a piece of wood. The carpenter Geppetto, a little man with a blond hairpiece, receives as a gift a piece of wood that he can speak. He decides to use it to build a small puppet which continues to tease him as the carpenter completes it.

Appena impara a camminare il burattino comincia a creare un mucchio di guai: Geppetto finisce in prigione per colpa sua e mentre Pinocchio si ritrova solo in casa, appare il Grillo Parlante che ammonisce il burattino per il suo comportamento. 

Fortunatamente Geppetto esce di prigione, e Pinocchio promette subito che sarà ubbidiente, impaurito di dover rimanere di nuovo da solo, e assicura al papà che l’indomani andrà a scuola come tutti gli altri bambini.

As soon as he learns to walk the puppet begins to create a lot of trouble: Geppetto ends up in prison because of him and while Pinocchio finds himself alone in the house, Jiminy Cricket appears and warns the puppet for his behavior.

Fortunately, Geppetto is released from prison, and Pinocchio immediately promises that he will be obedient, afraid of having to be alone again, and assures his father that the next day he will go to school like all the other children.

Andando a scuola viene distratto da un teatro di marionette e per comprare il biglietto vende l’abbecedario comprato con tanto sacrificio da Geppetto. Nel teatro, le marionette, fra cui è presente anche Arlecchino, cominciano a salutare e festeggiare l’arrivo di Pinocchio ma Mangiafuoco, il burattinaio, infastidito dal gran chiasso, pensa di bruciarlo; rinuncerà all’intento impietosito dal piccolo Pinocchio e gli regala cinque zecchini, o monete d’oro, da riportare a casa a Geppetto.

On his way to school he is distracted by a puppet theater and to buy the ticket he sells the primer bought with so much sacrifice by Geppetto. In the theater, the puppets, including Arlecchino, begin to greet and celebrate the arrival of Pinocchio but Mangiafuoco, the puppeteer, annoyed by the noise, thinks of burning it; he will renounce the intent pitied by little Pinocchio and gives him five sequins, or gold coins, to take back home to Geppetto.

Ancora un imprevisto attende Pinocchio: questa volta il burattino è vittima di due personaggi pericolosi, il Gatto e la Volpe, che, per rubare i soldi al bimbo, decidono di imbrogliarlo. Lo convinsero a seguirli per sotterrare le sue monete nel Campo dei Miracoli, che si trova nel paese dei Barbagianni, raccontando al burattino che così facendo, in quel punto esatto, crescerà presto un albero carico di zecchini d’oro.

Another unexpected event awaits Pinocchio: this time the puppet is the victim of two dangerous characters, the Cat and the Fox, who, in order to steal the child's money, decide to cheat him. They convinced him to follow them to bury his coins in the Field of Miracles, located in the land of the Barn Owl, telling the puppet that in that exact spot, a tree full of gold sequins will soon grow.
