Hello. I'm Mystic. Are you ready for a long journey with me in this book?
Summer season has come and schools are closed. Mystic received his report card, curiously waiting for his father's report card gift. In the evening, his father gave him a storybook. Mystic liked the story that Mr. Fogg had bet on his world tour, and he went to his room and immediately began to read.

Then something very strange happened. Mystic fell asleep while reading his book and found himself in a restaurant in Turkey. Kayseri Ravioli caught my attention in the menu that came with delicious food smells. Since he had never eaten this dish before, he asked the waiter how it was made. He listened to the waiter, who said that they used a mortar with minced meat before folding the dough into small squares, then boiled the dough in water and added garlic yogurt and tomato paste sauce while serving it on a plate, and he already gave his order. He wrote Mystic Kayseri Ravioli, which makes his stomach full, in his notebook.

After eating ravioli, Mystic remembered the delicious Paella he had eaten in Spain before. He sat at a beautiful seaside restaurant on the Spanish coast that day. Mystic was shocked when he realized that the waiter was a funny mouse. The funny mouse had described all the ingredients for this typical Spanish dish. "You'll love our paella, it's rice, fish, seafood, squid, shrimp, tuna .... mmm yummy, yummy!" The explanation of the waiter mouse rang in his ear. Spanish Paella was a delicious meal as well as Ravioli. Mystic continued to walk down the street.

Mystic had just left the restaurant when he heard the sounds of drums and flutes coming closer. This was exactly what he wanted. Maybe if he danced a little, his stomach would be relieved. He walked in the direction of the sound and saw young people dancing but he had never seen such a play like this. They were performing by standing upright with their arms spread out and hitting their knees to the ground. They were looking so proud and majestic while they were dancing. Mystic was very excited and he joined them. He had enjoyed very much but his curiosity had grown even more.

He had to learn this dance and asked the people next to him. He learned that it was a folk dance called "Zeybek" and the people who were performing Zeybek, called as Efe. They would wear traditional clothes and their figures in Zeybek were telling us the bravery of the Efes.
In order not to forget and to tell his family, he drew Efes' traditional clothes on his notebook.
While he was viewing his drawings in his notebook about Efes' clothes ,suddenly he remembered that he had been in Poland. He had also learned to dance there, and it's name was a Polonaise. Mystic liked this dance because it had 3/4 steps that one long step and two short steps.
Ewelina GAJOS
He danced at noble stages in Krakow costumes. That's why Mystic put on a red cap with a peacock feather and a navy blue coatwhile in Poland . It was great time. He left over there and continued walking slowly.

Batuhan GAZİ
Mystic saw a large group of people while
continuing his tour to explore his surroundings.
Those people were waiting in a long queue.
Mystic was curious about the queue and he decided to follow it.
While following the queue, he suddenly found himself at the gate of a palace , called "Topkapı Palace" and It was a museum. After passing through that huge and impressive gate, he reached the palace garden, It was a very beautiful large garden. In the garden, there were a lot of people from different countries to see the museum. When he saw so many people waiting in front of the museum, Mystic felt more and more excited. Curiously, he followed people and started visiting the museum

The inside of museum was much more beautiful than he imagined. There were many sections in the museum that the swords from ancient times, the glamorous and glorious clothes worn by the sultans and their family members, the precious jewels and many historical artifacts. He could not believe his eyes, at the moment he saw the precious stone, called Kaşıkçı diamond. It was the most valuable and unique historical artifact in the museum. Mystic ended his trip by watching the magnificent view of the Bosphorus from the balcony of the palace and took a photo of the magnificent scenery with his camera to show to his family and friends then he left the museum and continued his adventure...

While walking down the road, Mystic remembered a museum he had visited in Italy last summer. He was greeted by his three Italian friends, Desiree, Lorenzo and Arianna.
Walking along the “Ponte Vecchio”
Mystic was amazed by the little
jewels. Florence was one of the most
famous art cities in the world and
they had visited the Uffizi Gallery together with their friends.
When Mystic saw Michelangelo's “David” in Signoria Square, he was impressed and thought it was a real sculpture. He later learned that it was a copy and that the original was in the Academy Gallery. There was a very long queue in front of the Uffizi Gallery that day, and Mystic was curious about the magnificent paintings in the museum.

There were many statues in the long corridors. Each statue was more beautiful than the other. Mystic had also seen a lot of paintings, but when he got to Botticelli's room, he stood in front of the most famous
paintings ("la Primavera" and "La nascita di Venere) admiring them.
He was very happy with his tour in Florence.
Mystic would never forget the unforgettable
moments spent at Topkapı Palace and the
Uffizi Museum.
Then he kept walking, let's see what other adventures awaited him?

Mystic was walking down the street on a sunny day and saw some kids playing a game but he had no idea of what they were playing so first,he introduced them to himself and his natural curiosity led him to ask many questions about the game. These kids were very excited , implied the questions about the game in a very friendly manner all together. Mystic was trying to keep these classic rules in his mind. "Throw a small stone into the first square, Hop on one foot into the first empty square, Jump with both feet then turn around, and head back toward the start...

Mystic really loved the game and they had fun playing together. Hopscotch-Turkey

Actually, when Mystic saw this game, he thought about how similar it was to the Spanish game Rayuela. The number of frames in Rayuela was ten, and other rules were the same as the Turkish game Hopscotch. Mystic also joined the game and had a lot of fun. He didn't win the game but laughed a lot and learned how to play the new game. Then they suddenly heard a sound, looked behind his shoulder, and a wonderful owl appeared out of the tree hole. Mystic took a photograph of the owl and continued on his wa

Mystic was very tired. He sat under a tree. He fell asleep while dreaming what he saw. It was midnight. Suddenly he woke up to the voise of a man singing mania with the drum thumping. He was scared. Mystic thought that this drummer waking people up in the middle of the night must have lost his mind. He went to the drummer to satisfy his curiosity. He asked "Why are you waking people up in the middle of the night?" The drummer told him that "We are in the mounth of Ramadan" and "I am waking Muslims up for suhoor meal to fast during day-long." He learned that Muslims stay hungry all day long, prepare delicious tables in the evening to break their fasts. The drummer told him that tomorrow is eid-al-fitr ,it will last three days and children can wear nice clothes, eat plenty of candies and have fun. Mystic was very happy because he loved holidays and candies so much.

Mystic stepped into the crowd and listened to the conversation. During the conversation, a white-bearded grandfather told the story of Nasreddin Hodja. The story was so funny that I wonder who Nasreddin Hodja was? The mystic asked the person next to him curiously. The child next to him "Nasreddin Hodja is a funny person who lived in Akşehir. He made people laugh with his many stories for a long time. One of these is the story that is famous for driving his donkey back." he explained.

One day when Nasreddin Hodja was going to the mosque with his mullahs,he decided to ride on his donkey backward. The mullahs asked,
"Why are you riding on the donkey backwards? You must be very uncomfortable!
He answered,
If you I sat facing forward, you would be behind me.If you went in front of me, I would be behind you.Either way I would not be facing you. So, this is the most logical way!"
Mystic woke up smiling. He couldn't wait to tell his family about the unique journey he saw in his dream...
