ABOUT THE PROJECT
The main aspect of our project is making citizens think critically. This is representative for a person with
self-guidance, self-discipline, a person who reaches the highest level in intellectuality, if he persists in this way. Individuals, who obtain critical and consistent thinking, are being more empathic,reasonable and rational.
We want to give them the opportunity, to find out for themselves, as junior citizens who have creative and critical thinking, who realize their capabilities and roles in modern
democracy, all the processes of that political system, that affects their lives.
PROJECT TOPICS
C1 – Immigration , current status, problems derive by it, possible solutions, films and documentaries,
lies and truth about immigration, how media manipulates masses.
C2 – Democracy – Core Principles, human rights, values, violation of human rights – several case
studies presentation – Non Governmental Organizations oriented to human rights support.
C3 – Discrimination – consequences – case studies – types and forms of discrimination
C4 – Social motivation – Each partner country will identify several local issues and will interview stuff of Non Government Organization.
PROJECT OBJECTIVES
-Development of thinking critically, how to become a leader, communicational and social skill
development.
- Activate our youngers to community life issues.
-Put the foundation of free thinking and acting
-Emerge values such as respecting each other, being tolerant, democratic and active as a citizen.
-to forward intercultural learning
-Development of cooperation and idea exchanging among students across Europe
EXPECTED RESULTS
-Creating and improving autonomy as well as critical thinking.
-Finding out about rights, obligations and ability to make decisions.
-Becoming more active in the community.
-Taking step in their community’s problems and acting properly, like responsible citizens
-Using the online platform capabilities and keeping cooperating with European peers.
- Strengthening school performance by increasing motivation
-Realizing the values of democracy
-Increasing self confidence
Getting Closer: Ice Breaking Games
We played ice breaking games so that we can get closer.We created multicultural teams and played sports games. All the teachers and students had great fun in the competitions and dances.
C1: TURKEY




Presentations: Country,City,School and Immigration
Each School made a presentation about current satatus of immigration in their country. Students introduced their schools, cities and countries.











Multicultural Students Team Work
We created groups of students with multicultural backgrounds. They designed posters on project topics and they presented their works as a group.





Logo Election & Immıgration Workshop
Partner countries put together the candidate logos they had prepared for the project and we selected our project logo by voting.
We invited immigrants to our school and listened their stories. During the workshop students had a chance to ask questions and exchange ideas on immigration.





Cultural Visits & Meeting with Local Authoties
We met with local authorities and we introduced our project.
We had several cultural visits.

We organised different group activities to present our researches and ideas about Democracy and Human Rights.






We visited the MUBA (Museum of theBattle) and we had a workshop with the masters of paper of ANFFAS. We prepared and realised a job interview to minor migrants

C4. Spain
A successful call.
We overcome the authentic technical challenge of achieving the simultaneous connection of more than 100 participants.

More than 12 local associations were presented

We met experienced local associations with diverse objectives:
*Defense of nature, domestic animals and environmentalism
*Solidarity associations defending abused women, the poor, immigrants, disasters ...
*Associations for the care of the sick.
*Foundation to defend the historical heritage
*Associations for the occupation of the disabled
....

The participants worked very hard and presented very interesting projects.

The Italian and Greek delegations have visited Barcelos while the Spanish and Turkish team joined the event online.(photos)

The partner countries have said how the project and the mobilities have contributed for the discussion of problems and ideas, sharing of good practices and dissemination of the project materials and results.

Sharing of Good Practices at AEAF | Formation event
- The Integration of SEN students: adapted curriculum, individual lessons, integration activities, psychologist and tutor if necessary.
- The integration of Immigrants: individual lessons in Portuguese and other subjects; psychologist and tutor if necessary.
- The use of active technologies in the classroom - improves motivation, engagement and collaboration.
