The Fossil Fuel revolution really changed our lives!!

What are Fossil Fuels??
Fossil fuels are fuels created from the remains of ancient plants and animals from millions of years ago! Some fuels are Coal, Natural Gas, and Oil. These fuels started being used back in the 1700s in power plants! These gases take millions of years to form. OMG!!!

As you can see, my car here runs on gasoline and my truck runs on diesel!

Gasoline & Diesel:
Gasoline & Diesel are 2 types of fuels used for transportation. They are formed from crude oil, a oil which is mined for. This oil is near the mantle so it could be very difficult to get this resource. Gas is used to power our cars, trucks and many more!

Here is a power plant which uses coal!
Coal:
Coal is a resource used in power plants to generate electricity. This electricity is used to power homes, buildings and many other things. Just like oil, workers dig deep into the ground to find coal and transport them to power plants.

Cough! Cough!
Here is where natural gas is extracted!
Natural Gas:
So ever wondered where the gas from the stoves come from? You guessed it right, it's natural gas!! Natural gas is used to light fires and stoves inside homes. The gas is mostly used in kitchens as it is useful in ovens, stoves and many more. Natural gas is extracted by drilling deep into earth and releasing the hotness!!
