That day was Kelly's birthday. It was the happiest day of her life because her parents gave her a mobile phone as a birthday present.    

     She was 11 years old and this was her first phone. Her father helped her download some games and applications. She couldn't wait to use her phone as soon as possible. 

     She rushed to her room to begin.

     She ran and started playing the phone for hours without leaving her room. 

     Her family was very uncomfortable with the situation, it was a very wrong behavior, her father thought to take the phone from her, but her mother waited for her to realize the situation.

     Kelly enjoyed spending time on the phone so much that she didn't realize how time had passed,that she had been playing games without leaving her room for hours. 

     The more she played, the more she wanted to play. After a while, she started getting tired of the games she was playing and decided to download new apps.

     One of those apps was a dating app.  And she didn't know what that really meant until someone started chatting with her.

     That person started asking for photos of her and information about her adress. She told him what city she lived in, and she was very reserved about the pictures.

     Then,one day,someone was ringing the doorbell.

     Kelly ran to open the door. It was the postman at the door. Kelly brought an envelope. She took the envelope and immediately went to her room. 

     When she opened the envelope, she saw the pictures. She was very surprised. It was the photos she sent to the person she was chatting with on her phone.

     Taking those pictures shocked her. She couldn't believe in her eyes. Also there was a message too. When she read the message, she was terrified. 

     She didn't know what to do. The message was.......

     "Tell your parents I have your photos. If they don't pay me 10.000$, I will publish these photos on the Internet. You have 3 days time." 

     She had just understood how the Internet can be dangerous the hard way. She had to tell her parents as soon as possible.

     Kelly was really scared!! She didn't want to speak with her parents, because she felt guilty. So she decided to tell her best friend Suzy, who couldn't believe her eyes! 

     Suddenly Suzy had a great idea. She took her phone...

     She took her phone and she called kelly, her friend. She told her she will come and will help her to escape and to cope with the situation. Kelly was very happy and she felt relieved.        But, just for a while, as an unknown man rang at her door and she was scared, as she didnt know who the man was. When she opened the door, she saw the man dressed in black and he had a knife with him.. 

     As Suzy left the house, her family became suspicious of her anxious state. Suzy explained the situation to her father. Her father called Kelly's family. Kelly's father came home from work with the police and caught the man just in time. 

     Kelly was terrified. “I wish I had told my parents sooner,” she thought, seeing her family's attitude. 
     Police to Kelly; “We should not give our private information to strangers. In cases of doubt, we should immediately notify our family and get support.” This had been a big lesson for Kelly.
