Global warming is the rise in global temperature because of increase in greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.

Global warming causes hurricanes, desertification, droughts, floods etc. Climate change causes extreme heat etc.

Carbon- dioxide is a greenhouse gas which absorbs and radiates heat. 

But increase in greenhouse gases makes the Earth imbalanced, trapping additional heat and raising Earth's  temperature.

As global warming causes more snow and ice to melt each summer, the ocean and land that were underneath the ice are exposed at the Earth's surface.

Today, because of global warming, lives of animals depending on ice like Polar bears, snow leopards, tigers, special species of butterflies etc. are changing.

Life is getting harder as the ice retreats and food becomes difficult to find. 

The ocean absorbs most of the excess heat from greenhouse gas emissions, leading to rising ocean temperatures. This affect marine species and ecosystems.  

Warmer waters also make fish more vulnerable to parasites and diseases.
