It was extremely dark that night with very 

thick fog, after Scooter put his bike down he 

sprinted toward the old ranch with his dog 

Flash trailing right behind him. He met up with 

his friends Garret, BJ, CJ, Jo, Kristie, and his 

best friend Russel who wanted him to join a 

group called the Graveyard Armadillos. To join 

Scooter had to take a picture of an old man 

named Mr. Chandler, who his friends thought 

was a vampire.

The man's name was Mr. Chandler. He was a black 

man, but had a disease that made his skin pale 

white. When he wore a black gown he looked as if 

his head and hands were floating.

Scooter jumped in front of him to take a picture and 

snapped as fast, and as many photos as he could. The 

flash was really bright and Mr. Chandler couldn't see 

so Scooter took off running. After Mr. Chandler's 

vision came back he chased after Scooter and his 

friends throughout the woods.

Scooter ran all the way back to his house. The next day 

he heard one of his friends in their group Jo, was 

missing. After that the Graveyard Armadillos knew Mr. 

Chandler was a vampire... or was he? When Scooter's 

grandpa found out what happened that night he made 

Scooter go to Mr. Chandlers house and apologize.

When Scooter knocked on the door it opened right as 

his hand hit the door. Mr Chandler showed up out of 

the darkness of the house and said "Hello, may i help 

you?" Scooter was too nervous to say anything so his 

Grandpa said, " Um yes sir, I'm sorry, this is my 

grandson Scooter and he has something to tell you.

Scooter told him what happened Friday night and Mr. 

Chandler said it was fine and was very friendly to 

Scooter. Mr. Chandler gave Scooter some books he 

had written, because Scooter loved to read and draw. 

Mr. Chandler told Scooter to come back someday and 

tell him what he thought of them.

The next day Scooter heard word that two girls named 

Missy and Debbie that went to his school were found 

dead near the same place Jo went missing Friday night. 

There was a big meeting at town hall and the whole 

town was starting to get scared and was accusing Mr. 

Chandler for all the deaths. All the towns people were 

scared for the rest of the children.

While everyone was at the town meeting BJ and CJ were at 

home packing their bags to run away, because they hated 

their mom. They grabbed the keys and were on their way to 

their Aunt's house in Dallas, but their car broke down right 

in front of the forest by Mr. Chandler's house. When they 

got out of the car to see what was wrong, they saw a 

beautiful woman, but when they got close to her turned 

changed forms and BJ and CJ both blacked out.

The word spread like wildfire that five children had 

come up missing in three days, and two of them 

dead! Garret couldn't take it, so he got his keys 

and drove off to Mr. Chandlers with a gun, a silver 

crucifix, and stake and hammer inside his gym bag. 

When he got to the old ranch he sneaked his way 

all the way to barn, he searched all around and 

found nothing. He was just about to leave when he 

saw BJ and CJ, he went up to them, but right as he 

did   the beautiful woman came from behind and he 

blacked out.
