CHAPTER ONE
“Wake up!”
“Lea! Time for breakfast” Mom called. Sixteen year old Lea War sat up in her bed. ”Lea!” Mom called again. “Get down here or your breakfast is going to get cold.” “Coming!” called Lea. She got out of her cozy bed and walked to her closet and picked out a pretty purple dress with sparkles, put them on and went downstairs.

“Finally!” her Mom said, and pointed a soapy hand to a plate of four waffles. Mom woke up early to get the dishes from last night done. Mom and I left right after dinner last night to go shopping for new clothes for my Fashion Camp. My Dad looked up from feeding my 2 year old sister, Wendy, smashed peas. This gave Wendy a chance to dump the peas on her head. “Jordan!” Mom shouted, which woke up Miki, our French Bulldog, who was sleeping in her fancy red lace dog bed. Miki glared at all of us, seeming to say “noisy humans” and went back to sleep.

CHAPTER TWO
“Go get it!”
“Oh, no!” Mom said. “Go get some paper towels from the bathroom,” she ordered me. I ran to the bathroom to get paper towel. “Ummmmm, Mom, we don’t keep paper towels in the bathroom” I said. Mom shouted, “Well, just grab some toilet paper instead AND HURRY!” Mom was suddenly in the doorway, in a panic, “here give it to me,” Mom said. I handed the toilet paper to her. “Come help me with your sister” Mom said.
After we finally got Wendy cleaned up, I sat down at the table to eat my “cold” breakfast. I handed Mom my Fashion Camp form and a pen. Mom gave me a look that said “can’t you see my hands are full of dishes”.

“Give me a minute to put these dishes away,” Mom said, so I put the form in the pocket of my skirt, so it wouldn’t get ruined, in case Wendy decided to spill something again.
“What did I miss here? What form?," Dad said. I rolled my eyes and sighed at Dad. “DAD, did you forget AGAIN? I’m going to Fashion Camp” Lea said. My Mom and Dad filled out the form and signed their names. “There you go, you’re all set,” Mom and Dad said at the same time. “We’re stuck here and you get to have all the fun this Summer,” said Dad. I’ve been waiting to go to Fashion Camp my whole life and now that I’m finally 16, I don’t have to wait any longer.

CHAPTER THREE
“Here we are!”
The next morning I got on a bus with the rest of the kids going to Fashion Camp. I sat down next to a girl in overalls. “Hi!” I said. “Hello” the girl said. I noticed that she had a French accent. “Isn’t this so cool that we get to go to Fashion Camp?" The girl gave me a funny look and changed seats. “That was weird” I thought.
We pulled up to a bright red barn. “This doesn’t look like Fashion Camp," I told the driver, Bob. Bob laughed a hearty laugh HAHA BA HAHA, “this is Farm Camp.” Before I could say another word he drove off.

“Where is the head camp counselor?” I asked a skinny boy with freckles. He pointed to what looked like a bunch of trees. “I don’t see it” I said. He told me that I needed to follow the path. “Here, let me just take you there myself.” “What is your name?” I asked. “Kyle” the boy said, “Kyle Cake.” I held back a laugh, thinking “his name is making me hungry.” Once we arrived at the cabin, Kyle opened the door for me and left. "Thank you!" I shouted.

CHAPTER FOUR
“A WHOLE WEEK?!?!”
Inside the log cabin were things such as: a desk, couch, TV, coffee table, mini fridge, and pictures of baby cows hung on the wall. A man in a “Farm Camp” tank top and shorts sat at the desk. “Hello” he said in a deep voice, “How may I help you?” I took a deep breath and tried to remain calm. “I am at the wrong camp and I need to get this fixed RIGHT NOW!” I asked him what his name is. “Mike French, pleased to meet you, but you can call me MR. French” he said. “Mr. French,” I said, trying out the name, “I like it, it reminds me of Paris, fashion capital of the world….and the type of camp that I’m supposed to be at.”

“What do you mean, you’re at the wrong camp?” he said. I told him the whole story of what happened. “I see, we’ll you have to stay here at Farm Camp for at least a week and then you can go to Fashion Camp,” Mr. French said. “WHY!?!?!” I yelled. I needed to sit down on the couch, this was unbelievably terrible news. “The next bus doesn’t come until Friday” he said. “OH great," I mumbled under my breath. “I’m sorry, you’re just going to have to deal with it for a week. Please go outside, with the other campers, this meeting is over.” he said.

When I got outside a bell was ringing DING DING CLING ZING! Everybody was running towards Hobart, another camp counselor, ringing a bell. When we got to Hobart , he began telling all of us what cabins we’d be staying in. He called out my name, along with 5 other girls, telling us that we’d be staying in a cabin called “Cow Cabin.” One of the girls asked where our cabin was and he pointed to a cute cozy looking cabin, closest to the mess hall. The 5 girls staying there started to walk towards it. I guess I better get going too, it’s not like I have a choice. So, I grabbed my pink duffle bag and headed on over to “Cow Cabin.”

CHAPTER FIVE
“Some smelly work”
DING DING CLING ZING! “Ugh!,” I groaned. DING DING CLING ZING! I got down from my bunk and the girl below me got up too.”Hey!” I shouted, “you’re the girl from the bus.” The girl was actually talkative this time. “Hi, I’m Mia Crawford, I got transferred to Cow Cabin late last night. You were already asleep when I got here” she said. “Nice to meet you AGAIN, I’m Lea War.” By the time I got dressed, Mia was already dressed and ready to go and staring into my pink duffel bag. “Is THAT all you have packed!?!?” she said. “Yes” I mumbled, “I should be at Fashion Camp." Mia laughed, “These look like clothes that I would see back home on the streets of Paris, not on a farm.”
