Everyone has a HERO to look up to like Batman, Superman, Iron man .... But my hero is a bit  different to others

My Mum is my HERO not only to me but to all her patients as well. She takes care of people who are sick and helps to cure & heal.

She not only does that but she is a wonderful mother and wife too. She  makes sure that she is  always there for us. She takes good care of my Dad and I.

Let me describe her. She has long brown hair, blue eyes 

and wears glasses. She wears a white 

 uniform and a cap with a red cross on  it.

At  school I have many friends and my best friend is Kate.We enjoy doing everything together.We hangout with each other after school, play games, dress up and LOADS of other fun activities!

But one day,when I came back from school things were not the same. Something was different. Mum and dad were sitting on the coach with sadness clearly visible on their faces.

Mum had a sad look on her face. I knew something was wrong. I slowly asked my Mum, "What's the matter?"

Unfortunately, very recently a lot of patients had been admitted into the hospital and needed urgent care. The hospital  needed a lot of nurses and doctors to stay back overnight till the situation gets better.

At first, I told my Mum not to go  because I would miss her a lot.Then she told me that she will miss me too but she has to take care and cure the patients because they needed urgent care.

I understood right away.My Mum was right those patients needed urgent care. It's her responsibility as a nurse  to  to take care of them till they recover.

GOODBYE

The next day, before I left for school. I  kissed my Mum a goodbye. I did cry  a little but I knew my Mum was doing the right thing.

At school I met Kate. I told her everything. She told me that everything will be okay & also invited me to come over to her house.

After school, I went over to Kate's house.We had loads of fun doing arts and craft but I could not stop thinking about my Mum.Would she be okay?How long would it be till I see her again?

BREAKING NEWS

After I came back from Kate's house, my dad and I watched the news.While we were watching the news,  they said something that caught our attention. According to the reports, the condition of the patients were getting worse so the nurses and doctors have to stay back longer till the situation gets better.

Think positive !

It was not a good news!Things were getting worse and I was really worried. Later my dad told me it would all be alright and we just need to think positive!

When I came back from school the next day, I called my Mum. She told me how much she missed me and dad and  how much she was looking forward to see us soon.

My Mum also told me what was going on in the hospital. She was taking care of the patients by giving them their medicines & meals on time, making sure they are getting enough rest .

Days passed and few days  later my Mum called me and told that she had some good news.She was coming back next day because all the patients had recovered. I was so HAPPY!
