Once upon a time, there was a one-eyed monster
I hate the Internet,I always get bullied

The monster then decided to educate people about Online Safety and
Digital Citizenship

He therefore decided to hold a presentation
entertext hereHey kids. A lot of you have
probably encountered people
that behave bad on the
internet. Today I am going to
teach you about Online Safety
and Digital Citizenship

Meanwhile in the land of the Internet
You are fat
You are ugly
This, kids, is a perfect example of how to NOT behave on the internet.
Therefiore I am now going to teach you how to be a digital citizen.
A Digital Citizen is a person that knows what’s right and wrong, shows
intelligent technology behavior and makes good selections while using
technology.
The procedures for becoming a digital citizen are often separated into
three different categories. They are Respect, Protect, and Connect.
Furthermore, within these three areas, there are nine elements that
give us a better perspective and understand what a good digital citizen
is. There are three easy indicators of a moral and worthy digital
citizen: they have the ability to navigate efficiently, effectively, and
last but not least ethnically through digital information. Becoming a
good digital citizen doesn’t just happen over a night. Just as in school,
learning it takes a bit of time. It requires a lot of practice, reflection,
and a pledge to a life-long learning.

In the magical land of The Internet

I respect you
One out of the three categories about digital citizenship is Respect.
That means that digital citizens ought to be aware on how they
behave and show good manners to others.
• The first element within the category respect is Etiquette.
You should know how to use technology in a technique that it does
not have a negative impact on others. You should use technology
only when it’s suitable and not post false information online.
• The second element is Access. You should make sure that
everyone has the same opportunity to access to digital tools and the
internet.
• The third is Law. You should know how to legally post
pictures, video and other materials. Also, you have a duty to respect
other person’s privacy and the integrity of networks.
