One bright and sunny morning Sigmund Freud woke up and looked at his calendar and noticed it was spring, and that means spring cleaning! He made his way downstairs and got started.

He started with the bottom floor rooms like the kitchen and the living room. He got to the upstairs floor and a few hours later finished. Just to be extra thorough he decided to go into the attic to get his house completely clean.

He goes up to the attic and finds a strange looking dusty box in the corner of the room. He opens the chest-like box and finds an old, worn-down envelope.
“What could this lead to?” he wondered, “I need to show this to my friends!” He contacts his friends and tells them to meet at the park.

Sigmund arrives at the park and finds his friends Charles Darwin and William James. He then shows them the map and to his surprise they’re completely invested and just as curious as he is. “What should we do with it?” Darwin asked to which James replied, “follow it, duh!”

Sigmund believed that if they were going to follow the map, they would need more friends to join them on the adventure. Charles and William agree, so they invite their friends Dorothea Dix and B.F Skinner.

“What have you brought us here for?” Dorothea asks. Freud goes on to explain how he found the map and wanted them to join in on the fun. He tells them about how they would all split the treasure evenly if they were to find it. Dix and Skinner were quickly on board! The five friends examine the map and make their way to the beginning of the path.

The map led them through a large forest. “Are you sure this is the way,” Skinner asked, “because I’m getting tons of scrapes!” “It has to be the right way; the map directly points to here!’’ Freud said in response. The group continued their path through bushes and broken branches when suddenly, they heard a noise in the distance. It sounded like barking!

They followed the noise and came across a big, brown dog. William slowly approached it to see if it had a tag, which luckily, it did. The dog’s name was Bierka. He gave Bierka a scratch on his back before he walked away. “I’m surprised she didn’t bite you” Charles joked before continuing down the path.

After going a mile down the road, the group heard tiny footsteps slowly approaching them. They turned to see that it was Bierka! Dorothea leaned down and flipped the dog tag over. “There's an address,” she announced, “we have to take her back to her owner!” To their surprise, the address was only a few more miles down the same path, so they began to make their way further through the forest.

As they approached the house, they felt extremely excited. The door opened when a man by the name of Ivan Pavlov stepped out onto the porch and said “hello! I am Ivan. How can I help you?” “Hi, I’m Sigmund, and these are my friends Charles, William, Dorothea, and Burrhus. We found your dog wandering in the forest and came to return her to you.” “Oh, thank goodness! I have been searching for her all day! Thank you so much for bringing her back!” Pavlov cheered.

He pulled a bell out of his pocket and started ringing it. The group was confused at first, then realized that Bierka had saliva drooling out of her mouth. “Why is she doing that?” Dorothea asked. To which Pavlov replied, “well you see, I trained Bierka to know that when I ring the bell, it’s time to eat!” Eager to continue the journey, Freud blurted, “That is remarkably interesting! Well, we better get going before it gets too late! It was nice to meet you Mr. Pavlov.” They then stepped off the porch and onto the road to continue their adventure.
