There once walked a Zebra named
Marty who was thinking
about his life and asked himself what am I?
black with white strips or white with black
strips? he had a few questions to be answered.
So he went and visited his friends for their
views.

His first friend he visited was Geoff the Giraffe who was your lad back type of guy.
" What Brings you here asked Geoff"?
"Well I have a few questions to ask you".
"Ask away replied Geoff".
"What am I black with white strips or white
with black strips? "
Geoff answered with , "Good question ,
I can't make my mind maybe ask Tex the Loin?".

Marty went to look for Tex and once he found him
he said "Tex, do you think that I'm black
with white strips or white with black
strips?" "I don't know Marty, I think
black with white strips but I might be
wrong, maybe ask Georgia the hippopotamus?"

Marty decided he would go and look for Georgia, maybe
she has the answer! He finally found Georgia, "Hi Marty!
What's up?" "Hi Georgia, I was wondering if you can
help me?" "Anything for you Marty" she told him. "Do
you think I'm white with Black strips or Black with white
strips?" "Well I would say White with black strips!" Marty
was confused because he kept on getting different
answers, he decided to go and ask his friend Harry the
Monkey.

Marty went to the trees and saw Harry, he
asked "Harry, am I black with white stripes
or white with black stripes?" "Why's that
Marty? He replied, "well I've asked Geoff,
Tex and Georgia but I don't know what I
am?” "I think that you're white with black
stripes!" Harry told Marty. "Although, you
could be black with white stripes...” He
added. Marty didn't know what colour he
was, "why don't you ask Sophia the snake?
She's smart" Harry the monkey told Marty.

Once Marty found Sophia slithering around he
asked her "Sophia, can I ask you a question?"
"Of course you can!" Sophia told Marty. "Am I
black with white stripes or white with black
stripes?" "Definitely black with white stripes!"
Sophia told Marty. Marty really didn't know
what to believe so he thought he'd ask another
friend, Amy the crocodile.

Marty went looking for Amy and he found her
right where he thought she would be, in the
river! "How can I help you Marty?" Amy asked
with a huge grin on her face, "I need to know
if I'm black with white stripes or white with
black stripes, can you help me?" Marty asked
Amy, "I think you're white with black stripes!"
Marty was so confused so he decided to ask
one more friend, Frederick the owl.

Marty saw Frederick in the top of
his tree so he called out to him,
"Frederick! Come down!" So
Frederick flew down to Marty and
said "what can I do for you
Marty?" "I need to know if I'm
black with white stripes or white
with black stripes". Frederick
thought for a while and he finally
said "well of course! You're white
with black stripes!" "Thank you
Frederick! I still don't know
though, everyone has given me
different answers! There's only
one other person who will know!
My mum."
