One day a girl named Louise Connal was riding her red gelding named Blue. He was a barrel racing horse. Louise was a twelve year old girl she lived on a ranch with her mom named Betty and,her dad named John and, her brother named Luke and, her sister Brooke. They live on a ranch with twenty five horses and a herd of cows. It was six o'clock in the morning and Louise went for a ride with Blue. She saw a beautiful Dapple grey mustang. Louise got of Blue and tried to put a halter on the horse after ten minutes of trying she finally got the halter on her. Louise got back on Blue and took the mustang home. Louise put the mustang in the round pen and 

went to the barn to unsaddle Blue so she could work with the mustang She named Diamond in the rough. Louise thought she could turn her into a barrel horse. She went back to the round and started working with Diamond. She started running in circles and rearing up.  Louise finally got her under control and put a saddle on her. Louise got enough courage and got on diamond. Everything started out great but then Diamond started bucking and bucked Louise off and she hit the fence her dad came out and called the ambulance. The ambulance arrived and put Louise in the truck. They took her to the hospital. Her family got into there truck and followed the ambulane

They finally got her to the hospital. The doctors came into the room and told John that it was just a minor cut and that she could go home today. They got Louise into the truck and drove her home. When they got home Louise ran straight for the barn but Diamond wasn't there so Louise ran to the round pen and she was there. Louise put a bridal on Diamond and got on bareback and opened the gate and ran to the back field. Luke went looking for Louise and when he couldn't find her he saddled up his horse Bently and ran off trying to find Lousie. He yelled out her name for fifteen minutes and finally found her. She was sleeping in a tree and Diamond was just 

grazing. Luke said "wake up" Louise jumped up and got scared. She got on Diamond and raced Luke home. They got home and Louise put Diamond in her very own stall it has her name on it and everything. They got in the house and ate dinner, took showers and went to bed. They all woke up and ate breakfest Luke and Louise were talking and John said there was a barrel race if Louise wanted to take Diamond. Louise got so happy and ran out to the barn and loaded her in the trailer and got her new saddle and bridal and put it in the trailer. They all got in the truck and brooke fell asleep and Luke and Louise were talking about what Louise was going to do 

about Blue because now she has Diamond. Louise said "well since Bently was getting old you have Blue if you want." "Ok" Luke said. They arrived to the barrel race in Segiun. Louise was starting to get nervous. She went to unload Diamond and she ran out of the trailer and Louise couldn't get a hold of her and she ran after Diamond. Louise finally caught up to her and got a hold of Diamond. She got her back to the trailer and put her saddle on and her bridal. They got to the gate and she started out great and then Diamond slipped and fell in the dirt. The meds came out to the areana and they checked Diamonds leg and they did an ex ray and Diamond broke her leg. 

Louise started crying because she thought that if she had a broken then they would have to put her down. Luke came over and put Louise in the truck. John put diamond in the trailer. They immediately took her to the vet. The vet Dr.Jackie said that Diamond had broken leg. She said "there is a surgery that you can do it is expensive and it might not work.Louise said well do it. D.r jackie got started on the procedure and it was going to take about three hours to do it. So they went home and Louise went and layed in bed and started crying because she didn't think that Diamond would make it. The vet called Louise and said that they could come and pick Diamond up. 

So Luke took Louise to the vet and picked up Diamond. The vet said just keep an ice boot on it and rap it at night. They loaded Diamond in the trailer and took her home. They went to hand walk her and she freaked out and reared up. Louise went to calm her down and fell down on the ground. Luke went and gabbed Diamond and put her back in her stall and gave her food and fresh water. Louise went inside and grabbed her sleeping back and a pillow and went and slept outside in the barn with Diamond. Louise woke up in the middle of the night because she had a dream of the accident. Diamond went and layed next to Louise. They both went back 

and woke up at six o'clock in the morning. Louise took Diamond on a walk. Luke went out to the barn and looked for Louise and when he couldn't find her he saddled up Blue and took him for a ride and found Diamond and Louise sleeping in the middle of the field. Luke went and woke up Louise and they walked back home and put the horses back in the barn and feed and watered them. There mom and dad came outside and said the vet said that Louise can ride Diamond. Louise saddled up Diamond and took her for ride the went over a few jumps and set up there own barrel course. Louise said that Diamonds leg was really strong and that she could
