HAPPY HALLOWEEN

It was a cool fall Saturday morning Max and his little sister Jessie came running into the kitchen. What are we going to do today mom you promised we would do something special if we behave and keep our rooms clean and we did said his little sister Jessie .staring at mom with those big blue puppy eyes well sit down and finish your breakfast while we think about something fun to do all take a trip to the pumpkin .

Everyone shouted haaaray that sounds like a great idea they grabbed their jackets and off they went. During the car ride, Max and JessieWere finding things to challenge each other like who could find the most yellow things or who could count the highest they were always competing over something so Max decided to ask Mom and dad if they could find the biggest pumpkin and winner would get on the sweet prize of a big bag full of candy andcandyof halloween candy and 2 king size candy bars wich is like hitting the jackpot for a kid

taylor .st

As max looked out the window he imagined himself as the kid in Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory surrounded by all that candy He could eat . licking his lips thinking to himself that winning would feel like that .Max, Max, MAX snap out of it you're drooling! were here .

Before they started the contest, they did fun things as a family. they ran through the corn maze getting lost a few times but finally making it out together .it was very challenging said Jessie but I loved it!
Next, the family picked a delicious basket of apples.

Mom said she was so happy about that because now she had enough to make two apple pies and enough left over for a batch of candy apples with any topping we liked. Then we took a long hayride around the beautiful rustic farm she had ever met mom said it was the best. Finally, we were at dad’s favorite part of the trip.

He loved a warm cup of apple cider and a cinnamon donut he loved it so much he had three cups of sider and to Donuts. mom and I only had one cup and one pumpkin spice donut mom said she didn't want us to ruin our appetite for dinner Even though I felt like I could eat a few more I said yes mom after enjoying a yummy treat Jessie and I Jumped into the biggest colorful pile of leaves we had ever seen.

It for the best part of the day Jessie and I were bubbling with excitement the contest was about to begin . Dad said we have 15 minutes to find the biggest pumpkin and meet back here where we started they both said ok Jessie says to be ready loose. You going down Be nice mom says Max said we’ll see About that and off they went they and off they went.

They both ran in many directions picking them up and down then heading to the next that looked even bigger. they could hear mom saying don’t go beyond the pumpkin patch as they look for the best pumpkin. Max could see something ahead and so he decided to have a closer look it was beyond the pumpkin patch he could here his mom echoing in his head “don’t go beyond the pumpkin patch but he thought one quick peek won’t hurt.

Max looked back before entering .then he made his way past a broken down wagon with spider webs crowded the entire thing it looked like it had been sitting there for 100 years. Ok well, maybe not that long. But for a long time. As Max went deeper into the area he could see that this place use to be part of the farm.to his surprise,

It seemed to be a pumpkin patch in the distance. To the left of him was a sign, it keeps out! Forbidden pumpkin patch! OMG! Shouted Max those are some of the biggest pumpkins I have ever seen if I get one of those I am sure to win.

KEEP OUT

Then Jessie will be sorry she called me a loser ! the pumpkins that were as big as he was but he knew he would never be able to carry that on his back he couldn’t go back for help because he wasn’t supposed to be there. It was forbidden and beyond the pumpkin patch. Max being to lookedlook around for something something to help him pull the Punkin back to his family. to claim his sweet prize he looked everywhere until he came to a little rusty wagon.
