What Happened?
It announce the victory of the French and Indian War. The
land west of the Appalachian Mountains was then reserved
for Native Americans to prevent more wars.
How did it contribute to the cause of the
American Revolution?
Colonist were frustrated at being unable to move
westward. They thought British intended to maintain tighter
control.
If I had been a colonist, I would have felt trapped;without freedom.

What Happened?
British raised tax on foreign sugar and increased tax on
coffee, indigo and certain wines, without the colonies
consent.
How did it contribute to the cause of the American
Revolution?
One of the first, in which colonist wanted a say in the
government, including taxation.
If I had been a colonist, I would be in rage,because I wouldn't have my morning coffee or couldn't make my pastries.

Quartering Act March 1765





What Happened?
Britain forces colonists to provide British troops with
fuel, candle. beer, and transportation.
How did it contribute to the cause of the
American Revolution?
Colonist angered, because it interfere with personal
lives and pocket books. It didn't help that Britain didn't
ask for the colonist's concern.
If I had been a colonist, I would be devastated,because if it was hard taking care of ourselves;
it would be harder to take care for another.

What Happened?
Colonists had to pay tax on printed materials,
such as cards, books, etc.
How did it contribute to the cause of the
American Revolution?
Colonist felt freedom been threaten because
they didn't have a say.
I would of felt the same way, and untrusted.

What Happened?
Britain prime minister passed tax on glass,
lead, paper, and tea; they try to pass it
without notice.
How did it contribute to the cause of the
American Revolution?
Important colonist noticed and organize
boycott of British goods.
After many mistakes, I wouldn't trust britain.There is an amount of times a person can forgive, and britain has used all of it.

Boston MassacreMarch 1770

What Happened?
Colonist harassed British troops, killing 5 and
wounding others. The British troops felt
threaten and killed them all.
How did it contribute to the cause of the
American Revolution?
Colonist were so angry,they demanded
removal of british troops.
