Proclamation line 1763enter text here
We want to move west

but the Stupid proclamation line
Proclamation Line was a line that was created with
Appalachian Mountains. It was against the law to cross
the line so they don't start a war with the Native
Americans. The colonist where mad because they
wanted to move west and settle there. They thought
that the leaders and soldiers are trying to control them
even more then they do know. I would be upset about
it to because i would like to see more around the world
and have bigger space to live in.

Sugar act

Tax on coffee, Sugar, wine, Indigo.

Colonists had to pay three more cents on
sugar, coffee, wine, and indigo. The colonists
weren't upset. But merchants were upset and
were very vocal about it. I would be angry
even if i am not a merchant i would need that
stuff to cook and use for other things.

Quartering Act
Give me more beer
Quartering Act is when British soldiers lived in
the colonists home. The colonists had to
provide fuel,candles, beer and transportation.
The colonists were angered by this, they
believed the soldiers were sent there to control
them even more. The act effected their life's
and pocket stock. If i were them i would do
what they say and ask for, so i wont get in
trouble.

Colonists had to pay tax for printed materials. For
the leaders to know that people are paying tax
colonists have to put a stamp on the printed
material they use. They felt threaten from this act.
if i were them i wouldn't pay the tax because i
wouldn't send notes or anything like that because
of that act.

Townshend Act

Charles Townshend new prime minister imposed
tax on glass, paper, tea, and lead. He hoped the
colonists wouldn't find out that they were paying
tax for these items. later on colonists found out
and were angered and created another boycott of
british goods.

Boston Massacre

Run

A mob of colonists started to harass the british
troops by throwing snowballs and taunting them.
After a while the situation got of hand so british
troops opened fire on them and five colonists died.
I wouldn't have done that to soldiers because i
could have died if i did something like that.
