His wife's name was HallieHe'd back her yummy treats
Until one day Hallie said
"Nick, you've been beat!"

4
Nick's friend named FrostyBaked Hallie delicious treats
Hallie liked Frosty's better
Because they tasted extra sweet.

5
Nick moved from the South PoleBecause no one wanted him here
So he moved to the North Pole
He thought someone might care.

6
Nick made presents againAnd he got paid very well
He got paid in beautiful ornaments
His business would always sell

7
He would look at his ornamentsEvery single night
On his big green tree
Just him and the bright light

8
The Grunch was a mean manHe did things that were very bad
He stole, and lied
And always ended up sad

9
One dark nightThe Grunch entered Nick's house
He quietly took what he wanted
He was silent like a mouse

10
Nick woke up the next dayAnd fell to his knees
His ornaments were gone!
He had an empty tree.

11
Nick went off to townTo spread the upsetting news
He looked on every corner
Searching for clues

Help!!!12
Meanwhile a sound was heardInside of a bush
Ginger and Prince Jack
Went to get a closer look

13
It was a small deerWith a glowing red nose
Ginger jumped up
While Prince Jack froze

14
Ginger wanted to keep himPrince Jack said, "Absolutely not,"
So Ginger took the little reindeer
And went off with a trot

15
Ginger was excitedTo have a little friend
She had company to talk to
And she had time to spend

16
Ginger never understoodHow to take care of a deer
So one day the deer ran off
When the weather wasn't clear

I'm leaving!17
Ginger tried to find herBut then eventually dissappeared
The deer wandered by herself
Then entered a cottage very near

18
While Nick was walking homeHe found a deer curled in a ball
It was a baby deer
And it was very, very small

19
Because the night was coldNick took the deer in
He put a blanket over her
And some food in a tin

20
Nick began to love the deerAnd named her Rue
Rue became his only friend
Nick was no longer blue

21
Nearby lived another little reindeerHe lived with Hannah, his mother
His name was Blinker
And he was nice, like no other

They played everyday
Regardless of the weather
