The Story of Carl the Chicken in
Ravenloe

Once upon a time there was a farm in the
middle of nowhere where a small community
of chickens and birds lived happily together.
There was a chicken, Carl the chicken, that
had a lovely wife whose name was Heather
the hen. They were both very happy together.
That all changed as soon as Henry the
Hummingbird, Carl's best friend started to like
Carl's wife.

Heather as well liked with Henry, leaving Carl
sad and alone. Carl kept eating to help get rid
of his sadness, eating all the food the farm
had. The farmer couldn't support Carl's hungry
belly so he had no choice but to trade him
away to a different farm, Ravenloe.

When he arrived in Ravenloe, everyone
immediately thought of him as the grumpy old
chicken. Broken of spirit, Carl had only one thing to
keep him happy, a family feather, passed down
from parent to child and worth a fortune. He kept it
safe and hidden under his nest until night time. He
loved his feather more than anything and would
just stare and admire it every single night.

Ryan, an evil rooster heard tales of Carl’s
feather since nobody actually knew if it was
real. Being the thief he was, Ryan snuck into
Carl's home. Ryan had no clue where it was
but he searched everywhere until he found the
end of the feather sticking out of Carl’s nest,
with Carl sound asleep on top of it. Ryan
slowly slipped the feather out from under Carl
and walked away quietly.

Carl heard nothing until the door shut, waking
him up. He thought nothing of it, and gave his
feather one last pat before he went back to
sleep. But wait! The feather was missing! He
ran out front door, seeing no sign of his
feather.

Carl searched far and wide but never found his
beloved feather. Every night he checked under
his nest and all around his house but it was
never to be found.

Meanwhile, the richest bird in Ravenloe, Randy
the rooster, was upset about how his life was
turning out. He had just found out that his
brother, Ryan the rooster, had gone missing
and he didn't know where he was. He also
found out he was having a chick with his wife,
Hannah the hummingbird.

A long time had passed and many things had
changed. Randy got married to a hen named
Helen and pretends to still be in love with
Hannah in secret because she isn't as popular
as Helen. Randy is happy with his new wife,
but Ryan still hasn't go home, he was really
scared if he was okay.

Hannah gets very angry and thinks Randy
doesn't still love her so plans to bring their
new chick with her and walks to Randy's
house. On the way, Hannah saw her enemies,
hawks, flying towards Ravenloe and decided to
run away so she didn't get eaten, leaving the
chick in the middle of nowhere
