PART 3
OUR TOWN

Let's find out about each other's hometown!
Astakos is in Etoloakarnania, Western Greece. It belongs to the municipality of Xiromero. There are three thousand people in Astakos. It is a small town near the sea. There is a port in Astakos where the ship from Kefalonia and Ithaki arrives.
The town square is at the centre. There is a church opposite the square and a police station. Our school is near the church, opposite the supermarket. There is also a High School next to our school. There's a hotel and a lot of cafes at the beach. There is a big park near the playground and lots of supermarkets, only at the centre of the town.
Unfortunately, there isn't a toy shop or a cinema in our town. Nevertheless, we love our town and we like living here!!!!

There isn’t a town square, but we can go to Derveni and ride our bikes there. The town square is between the old building of our school and the beach.
The beach of Petalou is really beautiful so there are a lot of tourists in summer! We love it!
