Once upon a time, there was an elf named Max. He was adopted by nice people. But one day, he decided that he wanted to go to the North Pole. Max was outside when a mysterious man approached him and said "Do you need to go to the North Pole?"

"Yes, I do." Max said happily."

    The man said, "I'll take you on one condition. You have to stop the Grinch from ruining Christmas." "Ok," Max said, "but how do I do that?" "Just use your magic to stop him from stealing presents." the Man replied. Max said, "My magic is weak. It won't be enough to stop him." 

"I will train you then." the Man replied. "What is your name?" Max asked." 

"It is Bob." 

"Ok, hi Bob!" Max said, as he was anxiously preparing for the journey to the North Pole and stopping the Grinch.

    One day, Max was sleeping in the car because Bob had stopped for them to get rest. They suddenly realized that they were low on fuel.  "Oh no!!" Max yelled.  "We're low on fuel! What should we do?" "Make fuel," Bob replied. "I cannot do that," Max groaned. 

"Just focus." 

Bob reassured Max that he was capable of completing the task. Max was trying hard. He focused all the energy he could muster when suddenly, he felt something in his hand. "Yes! I did it!! I made fuel!"  Max said happily.

"Good!" Bob said," you are learning."

    Bob and Max flew across the oceans in the magic car. The North Pole was still so far away. All of a sudden, they felt something pulling on the car from the water below.  It was a sea creature! The beast was like a blue dragon with gills.  Max screamed!  Luckily, Bob had a hammerhead so he smacked the beast hard with it but the beast did not give up. The beast punched Bob with his dragon claw. It was fierce but Bob was very brave. Bob smacked it again and it finally retreated back into the water. "Wow!" Max said, "That was amazing!!"
