Hi! I'm Aria my family travels a lot so I'm everywhere. I know you might say it's a good thing but its not, I don't have many friends but one is all I need right now. My mom and dad goes on business trips, vacations or even road trips, to get away from life itself and sometimes from each other. They have been fighting a whole bunch Since last Summer's "Incident", but I don't pay it any mind. Anyway back to the story!

       The Maybes

When I hopped on the bus to go home from school my Best friend piper saved me a seat, "Hey girlie what's up?" she asked cheerfully as always, Piper and I have been Bffs since the beginning of time, We've survived kindergarten through 7th grade, Piper kinda has a sassy attitude but I'm here for it. I replied Normally saying "Nothing much you?" as I settle myself on the bus putting my galaxy backpack onto my lap. Before I could say anything else Piper Interrupted saying, "are you gonna try out for the school Talent show?" she said looking at me Funny.

I looked back at Piper and she was doing a half smile hoping I would say yes, "Maybe." I said shrugging her off. Piper looked at me like I said something out of this world, "MAYBE?!?!?" she continued, "I know you better than that and you say a Maybe?", she said angrily, I told her to calm down then the bus started to move going out from the school parking lot. Piper and I didn't talk for the rest of the ride until it was time for us to get off. When i stepped off the bus and looked back at Piper she glanced at me and said "I hope you change your mind about the talent show." I stood there in complete 

silence watching her walk to my house, " you coming or not?" she says I run fast and catch up to her and starts to talk about our homework. Later that evening mama came home early and dad did too, it was time for Piper to go home so I walked her to the door and showed her out, after that I went to the kitchen to help mama with dinner. Me and Mama started on dinner while Dad was doing his "At home work" which is a excuse to get away from Me and Mama's loud singing. When dinner was done Dad came out of his office and mom put the salad on the table. As we prayed and started to eat mom and dad start-

-ed to talk about finances and work then when they were done babbling about boring work places they came back to me saying, "How was school honey." I swallow my noodles hard. I felt like as if that was the hardest question ever. Eventually I answered saying, "It was fine I guess." my mom wide eyed me for saying that and my dad just looked at me. "What?" I say confused my mom answered me saying "Its not good that you have a Fine day but its not bad either." I looked at the both of them like they were crazy and finished eating my dinner. After dinner and me washing dishes I got ready for bed, my Mom

came to tuck me in and kiss me goodnight then went out my room. Something kept me thinking about the talent show all night I barely got any sleep but what made me go to sleep was thinking how boring school was going to be the next day.

Trouble with the Twins

"HURRY UP ARIA YOUR GOING TO BE LATE!!!" my mom called grabbing her keys and putting on her coat, "I'M COMING!" i yelled back putting on my purple coat and white shoes. I rushed downstairs grabbing my backpack and hugging my dad before Mom drops me and Piper off at school. When mom Drops us off Piper immediately asked, "Well did you think about being in the talent show?" I Shook no thinking she was going to leave me alone but she didn't she kept asking me questions like

why wouldn't i want to be in it. I just didn't answer her just because she was going to stop talking eventually. "Oh gosh" Piper says, "OMG" I say, the Bruno twins are coming towards us. Me and Piper really don't like them because they are bullies and has the WHOLE school wrapped around their fingers (except for me and Piper's friends) also they really hate us because.... well they're bullies. "Well,well,well Look who we have here Abbie!" Addie says, "Looks like two scared little 7th graders!" Abbie says, "First of all were in the same Grade, second what do you want?" I say angrily.

They looked at me about to say something then the bell rang then Piper and I started to walk into the school and in our class. Mr. Hendrickson (our homeroom teacher) wasn't here today so we had a substitute. The substitute Mrs. Via (Mr. Hendrickson's wife) is the best sub we could ever ask for she gives us candy if we finish our work AND lets us eat in class. Yet the twins take advantage of the responsibility. Addie and Abbie choose to run around the class room like little kindergarteners who's on a sugar high. "Sit down please" Mrs. Hendrickson SAYS as she sees the twins 

 laughing like hyenas. Mrs.Via stands up and gives the twins a mad look and says "Sit down or I'll give your parents a call." They Quickly sat down and Mrs.Via continued with the lesson. Soon after, the bell rang and we all Boosted out the door to our lockers, our next class is usually 35 minutes after each class. Me and Piper always ends up in the same class every year so we talk a lot in between. The next classes are Math, Science, then english then we're HOME FREE. After school Me and Piper get on the bus and heads home. Piper keeps bugging me about the talent show And I begin to answer but the twins are sitting be-

-Hind us "you are going to audition for the talent show?" Abbie says. I look behind us and say "well maybe whats it to you?" making a sour face. "well we all know your shy and always has No absolute talent." Addie Chuckles. "You know y'all can't sing and my friend sings like an angel." Piper says and pushes me down in my seat. "Now are you going to Audition?" Piper ask "You know I am" I say.

The Plan

When Piper and I get off the bus she immediately asks what am I going to do for the talent show. I didn't answer then she looked at me "HELLO EARTH TO ARIA" waving her hands up in the air trying to catch my attention "Huh? Today I asked my mom I could stay for dinner and she said yes. When dinner was done me and piper

Went upstairs to make a plan for the talent show. As I'm pacing back and forth thinking of what to do Piper takes a arepa out of a napkin and starts to eat it, she grabs another one "Want one?" she asks, "No I don't- Give it to me." I say munching on the cheesy treat and thinking about what to do for the show. "How about a Magic act?" Piper says, "Are you kidding I couldn't even tell you what your card was the last time I tried magic." we both laughed then Mrs. Avery (Pipers Mother) told me I could sleep over since it was friday. So me and Piper talked more about what I was going to do. "how about you Sing for the show?" Piper 

said. I gasped "What, whats wrong?" Piper asked, "That's a great Idea," I say "But?" Piper says "Only if I'm not going to freeze up and look like a total deer in headlights." I say "Well maybe you can try to get over performing in front of people?" I shrug and suggest we get on to our sleepover. "Maybe." I tell Piper as she is braiding my hair "Maybe."

The Unexpected Call

While Piper and I bake shortbread cookies with Mrs.Avery, we get a call from my brother, even though I said I'm a only child I'm not my brother, Camren, lives in Houston with his girlfriend, Anneliese, Piper knows him and he rarely calls so I kinda know whats up, "Hey Cameren!" I say looking at Piper while she looks away as is she doesn't know whats going on. "Hey Little sis." He says breaking up on the phone, "Where are you?" 

I ask, he answers but its unclear, "What?"

California to see you perform," My eyes widen then turns to look at Piper "Oh really now that's great!" I sound sarcastic I didn't think he heard me because he said goodbye and love you then hung up. I chased piper upstairs she tripped on the last step and I sat on her legs lightly, "WHY WOULD YOU CALL MY BROTHER?" I say "So he can see that you got over your fear of performing in front of people." she say trying to free her legs from under me, she got free and goes in her room I just stare at her and say nothing until the cookies were ready.

The Fight

Piper and I feel asleep after eating 12 cookies, I yawn and go brush my teeth while Piper is still snoring. I hear something from piper's parents room but I assume its a argument because they're yelling at each other. I just zone them out then I hear banging on the bathroom door "Hurry Up Aria I need to use the rest room." Piper says, "Hold your horses" I say finishing up. I open the door and Piper rushes in to sit on the toilet, "OUT" she yells, "Alright chill" I laugh. Piper and I are finish-

-ed with out morning routine, so we go downstairs to the delicious smell of bacon and pancakes. Her mom has a angry look on her face and we both know why. But we don't say anything and we chomp away at the bacon that was already ready. After breakfast Piper and I went to the park to meet up with Jaden (Piper's Boyfriend) who is the Bruno twins brother. "well ,well ,well-" I cut her off "Do you have to say that everytime you see us?" I ask. "Did you just cut me off?" She asks angrily "Yeah, But you gotta admit-" Addie pushes me into the mulch causing me to land on my butt

Jaden looks at Addie and Abbie with a death stare (Mind you Jaden is older) I get up and push her back "there!" I say after that Abbie hits Piper's arm "Control your friend you little brat" Abbie says. Piper wide eyes them but before she did anything Jaden picked her up and carried her to the swings. The twins ran off before I could say anything but they did when they Ran off "DON'T BE TO AFRAID OF US YOU TALENTLESS BABY" they both say I felt like running over there and kicking them but I didn't, I mean c'mon there the untalented ones.... Right?

The arrival

When Piper and I get back to my house, Cameren and Annilese are sitting on the black couch in our living room. "Cameren!" I shout while running to hug him, "Hey little sis, good to see you!" he says " Hi Annilese nice to see you to!" I say walking to hug her, she hugs me back then I glace at Piper "lets go Plan." I say in a serious voice. We bolt upstairs to my room and plan on the song I'm going to sing. "How about this girl on fire by alicia Keys?" Piper asks I shake my head no " I love Alicia and all but That song is kinda hard for

Me." I say. "What about the family Madrigal from that new Movie Encanto?" Piper asks

"NO," I say "I'm not singing that its too fast paced" Piper looks at me "MAKE UP YOUR MIND" she yells, "Ok jeez" I say, after that the doorbell rings "Who's that?" I ask, then Piper shrugs. It was Jaden and Kylie (My other Bff)

"Did you?" I look at piper "No." she says. I motion them to come in and we still work on the song I'm going to sing "Let me get this straight," Kylie says "Your singing?!" she asks "Yes...." I say "Thats awesome, your going to do great I know you can" Kylie says. "OH, I got it,"

Piper says "How about you sing this is me from the greatest showman?" I look at her "That's actually a great song and I could do it." I say "I agree" Jaden says " I second that" Kylie says "Its unanimous" Piper says as she smiles "well I gotta practice then!" I say "YES"

Bullies at 12 o'clock

Literally

Its Monday, and me and Piper go to lunch with Jaden and Kylie. "Well did you practice?" Kylie asks, "well, not exactly." I say "What do you mean not exactly?" Jaden says "Well..." The twins stand at the front of our table " Well Aria isn't giving up huh? We'll see about that!"

Addie says "I bet she won't even be able to stand on the stage." Abbie says "GO" Jaden yells. They roll their eyes and walks away to the "Cool kid table". "Don't let them get into 

your head Ari" Kylie says while scooting over to hug me, "Yeah they're just jealous you can actually sing." Jaden says. we all laugh and starts talking about our weekend. While me and Piper was talking about us eating 12 shortbread cookies Ben walks up to our table (Ben is my crush from kindergarten til' now)

"Hey Guys" Ben says, Piper whispers to me "Talk girl!" then I snap back to reality "Hi Ben!" I say looking up at his brown eyes "Could I sit here?" he asks, I freeze up then Kylie moves Jaden's face and says "She'd love you to sit there." but apparently that caught the twins attention. "What are you doing sitting here -

Ben?" Addie asks " He wants to sit with us what's the big Idea?" I stand up and ask "Well he can't sit here." Abbie says "Who says so?" Piper asks starting to stand up "I say so" Addie says. Then before i know it, Addie and Abbie starts to Charge at me and piper and then we charge. all the kids in the cafeteria looks and crowds us while Ben and Kylie breaks up Me from the fight but on the other hand Piper keeps fighting. I pull piper off of them, then the lunch lady sends us all to the principal's office. 

Penalty Punishment

While we are all in the principal's office I tap my fingers on my leg, Then Mrs. Clyde steps out of her office then motions us in. "So, what caused this fight?" Mrs. Clyde says, we all start talking at the same time, "ENOUGH!" Mrs. Clyde yells "I've already came to my conclusion," She says "Addie and Abbie" stay away from Aria," She says while giving all of us a pass for the nurse "Same to you,Aria." Mrs. Clyde gets up to open her door "Now get  

To the nurses office, so they don't sue ME for this madness." she say motioning us out. I'm really glad we didn't get that much of a punishment so I let it all go, yet the twins didn't. As addie was walking past she hit my shoulder "Watch it klutz." She says as they walk past. I sigh in relief but then something else comes to mind..... The Talent show 

Tryouts

It's the next day and Piper and I are walking to our class. Once we get to Mrs.Fetchie's class Mrs.Clyde comes on the speaker, "Hello boys and girls, as you heard there is a talent show coming up and I know all of you are excited, But, You can't just go on stage without clarification!" she says "So there will be tryouts held in the auditorium on Friday at 3:30. If you are interested come to the front desk after school, Thank you and have a great learning day!" the speaker turns off

Then we all start talking about tryouts, then Piper stares at Me "You know they have a before and after party!" she says getting excited, "you can't go unless your in the show." I say lifting one eyebrow "What do you mean by that?" she says "Exactly what I said." 

I say raising my voice a little bit. "Whatever" she says then looking at the front board.

Black Box

Friday comes and Piper's mom takes us to the school once again after us spending 7 hours there already, "Ugh, we're back." Piper says jokingly, we laugh as we pop out of the car to the presents of our two best friends. "Oh yay you're here!" Kylie says, "Finally it took you ages" Jaden says giving Piper a peck on the cheek. "Oh chill out," I say "Lets go in.". We walk back in the school and we see a table with our teacher, Mr.Banks, sitting at it. "Hello guys" He says looking at us "Hello!" we

Say, " You guys need to fill out these forms to head inside" He continues to say handing us individual forms. We fill them out and head to the auditorium. I walk in first to the sight of a whole bunch of people then I start to back up. "uh-uh your not backing out...literally" Piper says "yeah you can't quit now." Kylie says to try to hype me up. "I guess you're right" I say. We all find seats in the front and sit in them. "ALRIGHT BOYS AND GRILLS" a high pitched voice in the back says "Wait, I know that voice" I say "What?" Piper asks "Who?" Kylie asks, I look back, "It's my cousin" I say as I cover my head with my hood

"Isn't she in Prison?" Jaden asks "No that's her Grandma" Piper says "Oh......Wait-" Jaden says "As you know the talent show is on friday!" Jillian Says (HOLD UP a little background info, Jillian is my cousin she 23 years old but she's half crazy and on a sugar high, anyways back you the story!) "So, I'm going to need you to audition, Show me some talent anything you got!" She says "Now lets get started, All the people in the front row come and get back stage and get ready for your pre-performance!" There's about 25 seat each row and I'm 4 to last, so I have time to have a mini panic attack calm down and practice, Lovely.
