Adeline was walking home from school with a emotional support dog when she decided to pay her mom a visit. So she walked into the cemetery and picked flowers while coming in and put them at her mom's grave.  

Then she went home. Little did she know that someone saw her who didn't want her there…...Her 

biological dad. 

Right now she lives with her older sister Rachel. Her father did something to the mom and Rachel and Adaline didn't know. But when Adeline was 6 her father left. No one knows where he went. And his children adored their mother. So he plotted to seek revenge the rest of the way because Adeline loves Rachel now like she is her mother and father. So he watched where Adeline was going home. Finally she got home and told Rachel she took longer because she paid mom a visit.

Rachel said she understood. She also paid her a visit. But little did her biological father know that Rachel saw him.

So she told Adeline that they are moving because she found a nice apartment. So they went out the back door because it was about 7 miles away. 

They found the train and got in and rode to their new apartment.

Then it hit him. He could reconnect with Rachel and Adeline. So he did and he apologized. So the girls trusted him and they moved in with him. Rachel trusted him more because he explained everything.

Adeline was more hesitant than Rachel. So she started watching where the Dad would go. He would go to the cemetery. Then sometimes out of town to Sam's. 

Until Rachel noticed her leaving with dad all the time so she knew exactly what was happening. Adeline didn't trust her dad. She didn't trust her own father. She told dad that she has been noticing Adeline has been leaving with him to go everywhere. The father was furious. So he grounded Adeline. But Adeline didn't give up.
