   Atatürk was a Turkish nationalist leader and founder and first president of the republic of Turkey.

    Mustafa Kemal Atatürk was born in 1881 in Salonika (now Thessaloniki) in what was then the Ottoman Empire. His father was a minor official and later a timber merchant. When Atatürk was 12, he was sent to military school and then to the military academy in Istanbul, graduating in 1905.

    He launched a programme of revolutionary social and political reform to modernise Turkey. These reforms included the emancipation of women, the abolition of all Islamic institutions and the introduction of Western legal codes, dress, calendar and alphabet, replacing the Arabic script with a Latin one. Abroad he pursued a policy of neutrality, establishing friendly relations with Turkey's neighbours.

In 1935, when surnames were introduced in Turkey, he was given the name Atatürk, meaning 'Father of the Turks'. He died on 10 November 1938.

Barış Manço , was born on January 2, 1934 Üsküdar ,Istanbul . February 1,1999 ; Barış Manço , who passed away ın Kadıköy , Istanbul, ıs a Turkısh artıst ; he is a singer , composer, songwriter , TV show producer and host , columnist , state artist , and cultural ambassador. He is considered one of the pioneers of rock music in Turkey  his over 200 songs have won him twelve gold and one platinum album and cassete awards. Some of these songswere later interpreted in Arabic, Bulgarian , Dutch , German , French ,Hebrew,

 English, Japanese and Greek.

HALİDE EDİP ADIVAR

Halide Edip was born in Istanbul in 1882 January 9.1964.She studied at the American College to grow up with English upbringing.He gruated from college in 1901.He was first given the rank of corporal and then chief sergeant.In the years following the war.he disagreed with the Rebuplican People's Party and Atatürk.II. Halide Edib, who started writing with the poster of the Constitutional Monarchy; With twenty-one novels, four storybooks, theater plays and various studies, he is one of the writers who wrote the most in Turkish literature in the Constitutional and Republican periods. His novel Sinekli Bakkal is his best known work. He advocated for the writers who included the education of women in his works and his perspective on the world. It has been adapted for movies and television series.

He first lived in the 16th and17th century.A poet from Janissary quarry.He has some kind of army poet.

The other is KARAMAN KÖROĞLU in the epic and folk-story,which spans a wide area from the balkans.He settled in Çamlıbel on the Sivas road.

Mevlana is a poet,scholar and theologian.He was born on September 30,1207 in Khorasan Iran.Mevlana got married in 1225 in KARAMAN.His wife's name is GEVHER HATUN.mevlanan met ŞEMS -TEBRİZ-İ ON 15 NOVEMBER  1244.

BUT after a while şems suddenly died. MEVLANA was very upsetabout the death of him. Mevlana celaleddin-i Rumi died on 17 December 1273.

                                          NASREDDIN HODJA 

              Nasreddin or Nasreddin Hodja or Mullah Nasreddin Hooja or Mullah Nasruddin (1208―1285) was a Seljuk satirist, born in Hortu Village in Sivrihisar, Eskişehir Province, present-day Turkey and died in 13th century in Akşehir, near Konya, a capital of the Seljuk Sultanate of Rum, in today's Turkey. He is considered a philosopher, Sufi, and wise man, remembered for his funny stories and anecdotes. He appears in thousands of stories, sometimes witty, sometimes wise, but often, too, a fool or the butt of a joke. A Nasreddin story usually has a subtle humour and a pedagogic nature. The International Nasreddin Hodja festival is celebrated between 5 and 10 July in his hometown every year.

             Claims about his origin are made by many ethnic groups. Many sources give the birthplace of Nasreddin as Hortu Village in Sivrihisar, Eskişehir Province, present-day Turkey, in the 13th century, after which he settled in Akşehir, and later in Konya under the Seljuq rule, where he died in 1275/6 or 1285/6 CE. The alleged tomb of Nasreddin is in Akşehir and the "International Nasreddin Hodja Festival" is held annually in Akşehir between 5–10 July.

                            FAZIL SAY

           Pianist and composer Fazıl Say is among our world-famous artists. Fazıl Say, who started playing the piano at the age of 4, developed his art and made his name known to art lovers with international concerts.Fazil Say is known worldwide for his piano playing skills. Fazıl Say is also interested in literature and poetry.

       Say, who won the first place in the Young Concert Soloists Europe competition in 1994, started his concert career by being the winner of the intercontinental

competition held in New York in 1995. On the other hand, he began to compose oratorios, piano concertos, orchestral in various forms, chamber music and piano works, songs for voice and piano.

Also popularly known as ‘Avicenna’, Ibn Sina was indeed a true polymath with his contributions ranging from medicine, psychology and pharmacology to geology, physics, astronomy, chemistry and philosophy. He was also a poet, an Islamic scholar and theologian.

His most important contribution to medical science was his famous book Al Qanun Fi Al-Tibb (The Canon of Medicine). This book is an immense five volume encyclopedia of medicine containing over a million words. It comprises of medical knowledge available from ancient and Muslim sources. His other major work is “The Book of Healing”, a scientific and philosophical encyclopedia.
