Once upon a time in a town far far away everyone lived happily until one day when everything changed. This day started like every other day. Dog in tights was happily chewing on a bone and the people of Moundville were doing their usual jobs upon the mound in the center of their town. They were all doing things they would be doing on a normal day. Things like washing, dishes, running, cleaning, gardening, working, cooking, talking, walking, riding, and many other things. 

Now because they were all doing normal activities on what they thought was a normal day the high pitched scream surprised them all. Dog in Tights leapt up, quickly buried his bone, and took off towards where the scream came from and saw a young girl without a head and then he saw the head nearby and yelped.

That same day 9 more screams rang through the town and everyone knew what it meant. There was also a sighting of a masked man in all black. Some people wanted Dog in Tights to catch him but Dog in tights said there was no evidence. Over the next week, there were 78 screams and 78 headless people. Everyone was begging Dog in Tights to go after 'The Masked Murderer' that everyone claimed to have seen. 

The murder toll this week was up a lot with the final number being 78!!

So after a major protest by the whole town, Dog in Tights exclaimed "fine! I will go after 'The Masked Murderer'!" The whole town cheered. Dog in Tights set out later that day. the town farewelled him and went back to their normal business like washing, dishes, running, cleaning, gardening, working, cooking, talking, walking, riding, and many other things. Meanwhile, Dog in Tights travelled to the next town to see if anyone there knew anything about 'The Masked Murderer'. 

First, he went to the mayor's office and talked to the mayor who said "The Masked Murderer is dead! My army killed him about 6 months ago when was chopping people heads off in our town!" Dog in Tights explained to the mayor that 'The Masked Murderer' is back. the mayor couldn't believe his ears. Dog in Tights set off again and as he left the town he heard 3 screams. He ran as fast as he could with his tail between his legs. By the time he got back to his town, he calmed down and came up with a plan.
