Fweeeee! Another good hunt I thought. All I have to do is get this deer home.
As I emerged from the thick underbrush
a wide plain spread into view. The grass
was green and the flowers and trees were
bright. Greece is wonderful this time of year
I thought.Out in the distance was a small
village made out of marble and wood.
Home I thought.
Then I headed to the village.

Soon I came to a small flat structure with a chimney."Hey Chris can I get some new arrows?" I said.
"Sure" said a voice somewhere in the structure.
A few seconds later a tall stocky man covered in ash from
head to toe emerged. He handed me new arrows.
"Thanks Chris" I said
I took the deer over to the village cook.
He took it and prepared deer soup for the village.
I came across a dead bird I picked it up and headed off to
the woods.

I started a small fire and burned the bird.A few moments later a silver furred fox came
out of the underbrush.“Hello Artemis” I said to
the fox.The fox then changed into a woman
wearing a silver dress with a quiver on her back.
. “Anything that’s good news?”I am afraid not said the
woman.A famine is coming be ready.” Then she
vanished.

I ran to the village spreading the news of the famine. All the hunters gathered and hunted and brought back boar,
deer,and many more.
At last the famine swept over us like a hawk swooped
over its prey. Almost instantly the land was sour.
The grass turned yellow and stiff.
All the flowers and trees turned orange and wilted.
Animals became scarce and hard to find.
We lasted until the very last day we didn't’t have any food
left. There was only the alligator in sight.
Everyone was too tired and had no energy.
The gator had to die. “Wait!” the gator said. “Don’t shoot.

So I killed the gator. He didn't do anything wrong. He just survived that's all.So now they were extinct. What have I done? Killing a helpless creature.
Then I headed to Artemis. I pleaded her to let gators to live again. She had
thought about it and put it into consideration. She rose the gators from extinction.
I was so very very happy. But the gators had scales for protection. so no one
could harm them again. Their attitudes had worsened. They did not forget what
happened. If any human got near them they would strike.
