Dustin grew up in a small town. The streets were narrow, the houses were close together, and all the kids knew of each other. 

Dustin liked where he lived. He had many friends, and after school he would always play basketball with them. 

Summer was approaching, and Dustin was more than excited to be able to play with his friends all day long. The never-ending hours at the lake, the countless amounts of hide and go seek games, and ice cold lemonade. 

¨What could be better than this?¨, thought Dustin. 

For a while, everything went according to plan. Dustin spent his days with his two best friends, Alejandro and Ron. 

As the warm sun was slowly changing into a cool breeze, the three of them knew school was soon to start. 

WELCOME BACK!

On the first day of seventh grade, they all made a promise to each other.

¨No matter what happens, we have to stick together,¨ said Dustin.

¨The three of us forever,¨ replied Alejandro.

On the second day of school, a new student walks into the classroom. 

¨Everyone welcome Ashton!¨ says the teacher. ¨He just moved here today.¨ 

Ashton was wearing the newest Nike sneakers, paired with a Buffalo Bills jersey signed by Josh Allen. Dustin looked around, as every kid stared with their jaws dropped.

Today we will be learning about grammar!

¨Hey Ashton! If you don´t already have somewhere to sit, you're more than welcome to sit here!¨

When lunchtime came around, Alejandro and Ron invited Ashton to sit with them at their table. Dustin wondered why they found so much interest in the new student. 

Dustin went home after school that day and started to become nervous of losing his best friends. He asked himself, ¨What is so cool about Ashton that I don't have?¨ 

He spent the rest of his night thinking of ways to make everyone's jaws drop, just as Aston did on his first day of school. 

¨Is it his clothes? His shoes?¨
