Donavin Curtis was a young 8th grade boy who loved to make trouble at Hardcastle Middle School.

One day, Donavin got into the biggest trouble of his life.
He had hit his schools Atlas statue causing the globe to fall off.

The globe came crashing down onto the gym destroying the wall in the process.

And standing there was none other than the superintendent of the district. Dr. Schultz

He placed his information on his desk and let Donavin go to deal with the damage at the gym

Furious over what had just happened Dr. Schultz wrote Donavin's name down.
When he had come back he noticed the paper with Donavin's name on it had disappeared.

Through some mix up the paper had been mixed in with those of the Academy of Scholastic Distinction.

Donavin waited at home for a letter telling him and his family what he had done.

Instead the only letter that came was the one inviting him to the best school in the district.

Donavin was blown away by how fancy this new school was.

But he had only one job while here and that was to hide out for what he had done.

In his first few minutes in the class he had already made quite the impact on these kids.

It was obvious he didn't belong but he tried his best to fit in, even if he had to lie to do so.

Despite Donavin not being good at any subject the students still liked him.
Not only could he drive their robot super well but he showed them how to be normal, something they could never learn from a textbook.

It had been a few weeks since Donavin had been at the academy when disaster struck.

Dr. Schultz had come to visit their classroom and through one of Donavin's classmates YouTube videos he had finally caught Donavin.
