To all the children who love Christmas!

Dean and Adam were two brothers who lived in a small town named Newfane. Newfane was a cheerful and very spirited town. Christmas spirit was extremely abundant in Newfane.
Newfane was well known for their Christmas spirit. Lights were strung all over town, trees were lit bottom to top, and houses were decorated immensely

The town of Newfane

"Dean, the snow is getting my glasses wet!"
Dean and Adam's favorite holiday was Christmas. Every year they participated in the town's holiday events with great pleasure.
The two brothers loved to spread the Christmas spirit with anyone they met. Christmas is one of the only things Dean and Adam looked forward to all year.

Newfane's Annual Ice Skating
"Ice skating is my favorite!"
Dean and Adam were eager for Christmas to come. They counted down the days using the advent calenders that their grandparents had gotten them.
As each of the days were finally leading up to Christmas, Dean and Adam were constantly on their best behavior. They wanted to ensure Santa that they belonged on the nice list.

Adam

It was finally the night before Christmas.
Dean and Adam were wearing their matching Christmas pajamas while writing notes for Santa to read while he was delivering presents to their house.
They left cookies for Santa and carrots for the reindeer on the coffee table in front of the fire place.

Adam

Dean and Adam were beyond ecstatic that the day they had been waiting for all year was finally about to arrive.
"Adam, we must go to bed early so Santa can deliver our gifts," said Dean.
Adam replied, "You are right, if we are awake then Santa will not be able to come".
The boys were soon off to bed.

It was the middle of the night when Sam was abruptly woken up to a loud bang.
"Adam wake up!" said Dean.
Adam replied, "What happened?"
"I heard a loud bang on the roof," said Dean.
"I did not hear anything Dean, go back to bed. Santa will be here soon," replied Adam.

"Adam wake up!"

Moments after the loud bang that had initally woken up Dean, another loud bang occurred.
The two brothers looked at each other with a nervous look.
"I definitely hear it now," said Adam.

"I definitely hear it now"

The two brothers were nervously sitting in their beds silently until Dean suggested they should go and check the loud bang out.
"We can't go check the noise out Dean, Santa will be here soon and if he catches us awake he won't deliver our presents!" said Adam.
"What if that is Santa on the roof and he needs our help?" asked Dean. "We can't just leave this alone, we have to make sure everything is okay".
Adam finally agreed.

"We have to check!"
"Okay, fine"
The brothers slipped on their slippers and a coat and cautiously went outside. As they began walking outside they began to hear bells jingling.
They quickly turned around to look up at the roof and that is when they saw it.
It was Santa's sleigh.

The brothers stood in shock with their mouths hanging open. They did not know what to do. They had always been told that they should not be up during the night before Christmas because they would get into trouble with Santa. Now here they are, awake on the night before Christmas standing right beneath Santa and his sleigh.

"Are you seeing what I am seeing?"
"What should we do, Santa is going to see us!" said Dean.
Adam was speechless. He was still in shock.
Dean began to take off to the backyard to see if he could find a place to hide.
