On a dreary wet cold morning, a froglet
was born. His name is Froggie; he is one of
100 eggs that were laid by his mother.
Unfortunately, he was the only survivor.
Froggie has countless family and friends. He
has two very enthusiastic best friend, their
names are Hoppy and Speedy. When not
sunbathing, Froggy loves to occupy his free
time hunting with his best friends for fireflies,
butterflies, or dragonflies.

One morning before he went out hunting
for delicious dragonflies, he asked his mother,
“mama, where did I come from, and where
was I born”? He also wanted to know if he
had any brothers or sisters. Mama sat Froggie
down and explained how and where his perfect
son was brought to this magnificent family.

He was so excited; he forgot to go hunting
for his delicious dragonflies. He told mama, “I
am going to go to the pond across the pasture
to meet Hoppy and Speedy and tell them my
life story. Mama just smiled and told Froggie,
“be careful crossing the pasture and come
back before dark”. Froggie, told mama, “Sure
mama, I love you”! Mama told him she loved
him also.

On the way to meet Hoppy and Speedy, he
came across ducks, birds, raccoons, beavers,
and porcupines. He was hopping for joy, and
told them he was going to meet his best
friends and tell them his life story. The animals
just looked at him and went about their
business. Finally he made it to the pond; there
he met Hoppy and Speedy.

“Hey guys I have something very
important to tell you”! “I am going to tell you
my life story”! “Wow”, said Hoppy, “no one
has ever told us stories about their family”.
“Fantastic”, said Speedy, “I cannot wait to
hear it”! “Okay boys, we will need to catch
some snacks before we start, this is going to
take some time”, said Froggie. The boys
played around for about thirty minutes, caught
several delicious dragonflies and Froggie called
the boys to let them know the story was to
begin.
