Now that you know who we are, this story will share our journey throughout this assignment!
November 25, 2021
Dear Diary,
Today I am feeling excited, but also a little nervous. In the last 6 weeks, I worked with great people who made my learning experience enjoyable. While I am saddened that I will not be working with the same group anymore, I know that many new and unique experiences will occur as I move forward through my learning journey. My new team and I will be gathering information regarding the occupation of an administrator as well as a guidance counsellor. A question I want to be answered is, "Is this job a combined role in some schools? Or, will we be interviewing people from both careers and investigating two separate roles?" As my team and I got together, we were all a little apprehensive as to how the next few weeks would go. However, we knew that we all wanted success. So, we spent a few hours working on our project and team charter.

We knew that we would all be able to share our goals through this. We also talked about respect and what that would look like. We also made a group chat and agreed that keeping our notifications on would allow for the most success. We created questions we wanted to ask our interviewees and talked about the successes we had in our previous groups. Through this, we established what worked well and what everyone wished to change for this group assignment. While it is only the first day, I believe we are off to a great start!

Dear Diary,
Our team chose who would pair up and work together to conduct each interview at the beginning of this week. Working in our pairs we sent out emails to the interviewees requesting specific times and dates that could potentially work for them to join us for their interviews. We also brainstormed specific questions we could ask all our interviewees. I am anxious but also excited and looking forward to hearing back from our interviewees! I am eager to speak to my interviewee as I have a lot of questions about their occupation!
Sincerely,
Jeanine D.

Dear Diary,
During this week, we were able to conduct the interviews, with one person doing the speaking and asking the questions and the other taking notes while the interview is happening, it made the process a lot easier. During these interviews we learnt a lot about what their occupation consist of, how a student graduating can get to where they are as well as some of the challenges and benefits of their job. The interviewees were very kind and gave us advice and some insight on why the job is rewarding. Overall the interviews went very well!!!
Sincerely,
Nadali B.

Hello, again Diary,
It is finally WINTER BREAK! We are all so excited to spend time with our family and rest before we get back to work in 2022! We agreed that this time will be spent away from our computers as much as possible! However, we will take some time to individually work on summarizing our interviews to share with our peers for when we return. We are all in need of a break and believe that taking this time will allow us to come back even stronger!
See you in 2022!

Dear Diary, January 13, 2022
Happy 2022! We all spent some much needed time with our families and feel refreshed for the new year! In our first meeting back we shared a lot about what we had learned in our interviews. In working on our job description, we decided an infographic would be the most cohesive way to portray all we had discovered about administrators & guidance counsellors. We felt like high school students would find an infographic to be the most familiar and informative. In working together we really appreciated the collaborative aspect of Canva and feel like it turned out beautifully! We hope they find the infographic as useful as we want it to be!!
Sincerely,
Sheryl B.
