Nature is a twelve years old girl and she lives near a forest. She likes animals very much and she is green lover. She likes feeding the birds and watching their flying very much. She is respectful to all living beings. She is sensitive, thoughtful, kind and intelligent. 

One day when Nature woke up, she opened the window to get some fresh air and saw the plane tree's leaves pale. It was lonely in the garden. The sky was grey. She couldn't see the forest near their house and there wasn't any bird in the sky.

While trying to understand what was happening exactly, she heard a strange noise. 

'What is that?' she asked.

That was the plane tree in their garden.

'Now, you are trying to figure out what is happening and why, aren't you?' The Plane tree said.

‘Oh , ıs that you Plane tree? Tell me what happened to you? I am so sad. Where is the forest? Why is the sky grey?’ asked Nature. 

Nature wanted to wash his face from the river near their house. But she couldn't believe in her eyes. The river  was grey and there was a fish trapped in a plastic bottle,struggling to get out of it with a huge effort.It  failed  to rescue from bottle and got tired.

Suddenly, fish noticed the little girl and shouted, ‘Help! Help, please! I‘m in trouble, I don’t want to die, little girl!

Nature came close to pity fish and took the bottle from river. She helped it to get out of plastic bottle. She saved its life and let it to swim in the river, again.

Pity fish became happy and energetic again.

'Thank you, little girl. I was on the verge of dying. You saved my life. People didn’t respect to my home. They threw rubbish into river. We sometimes got injured because of these plastic and waste materials, also we lost our life. They didn’t care about our lives. Besides , factories poured their chemical wastes to our home,oil spills and leaks made our water dirty. We can’t breathe well, so we get ill. I don’t want to see my friends dying.’

Nature was really upset, she couldn’t wash her face. She said good bye to fish and wanted to lie on grasses near her house. But unfortunately, the grass was not green and didn’t smell good.

The grass was like hay, looked dry. There were no flowers. Nature smelled something like rust, she looked through the grass and saw magnets, plastic bottles, broken chairs, bags of rubbish. Surely many of these things were left there by selfish people who had their picnics and had no respect of the earth.

‘What can I do?’ she asked herself. She started to collect all that rubbish but no, it was too much!

So she stopped a man who was walking along the street but he didn’t help, then Nature tried and called another person, and then another but nobody wanted to help.

‘Oh, please please help! It is our world, why don’t you help? It doesn’t look like our home anymore, don’t you see?' She yelled.

Nature went home and started to cry. 

She yelled 'Why, why  people are so selfish? ı do not understand. I don't feel at home in this world anymore.'

She fell asleep while crying. Next morning she thought all these things might be a dream. So she ran to window to look at the blue sky. She opened to window but the only thing that she saw was  yellowish, grey clouds and smoke from factories and vehicles. The air was very dirty and ıt was difficult to breathe.

She started to cough heavily. She missed  blue sky, sunlight and  the colors of the rainbow.  

'I want to see the sky clear and birds flying . ıt is enough! People should stop this. I should do something to prevent this nightmare.’ she said. 

Nature thought for a while . She called her friends to discuss  what the reasons of this nightmare were. Nature and her fiends came together, discussed the reasons of pollution found solutions. 

They decided to organize a campaign called ‘My Dream World’ and prepared a brochure. 

Nature had an idea: ‘I’m going to write to the newspaper, I will ask if they can help me to organize a special day, where volunteers can meet here and clean this place!’  

Then they went to City Hall to talk to the city mayor and introduced their campaign. He was very interested in their campaign and said that he would provide the necessary support to ıt. The mayor wanted people to recycle, use public transport and plant tree. He warned factories to use filters for chimneys. 

Also Nature and her friends made posters and hung them in different parts of the city. They organized a clean up day named ‘MY DREAM WORLD’. It was successful. Everybody was happy and people were cheering saying 'MY DREAM WORLD! MY DREAM WORLD!'
